TweetTheater Talk is co-hosted by Michael Riedel (Broadway columnist for the New York Post) and series producer Susan Haskins. In April they recorded an episode devoted to Matilda The Musical, on Broadway, talking to Tim, Dennis Kelly and Bertie Carvel.
The episode aired originally on Thirteen/WNET in New York and WGBH in Boston and CUNY TV have now put it up on their YouTube channel for a wider audience:
The series is produced by Theater Talk Productions, a not-for-profit corporation and is funded by contributions from private foundations and individuals, as well as The New York State Council on the Arts. www.cuny.tv/show/theatertalk

An absolute treat to watch this interview. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the insights into the making of the production. I especially liked Tim’s dry comment when asked about a song being injected at a moment of emotional intensitive, ‘Well, I don’t think you really need to sing… ever…’ totally hilarious. A wonderful achievement, with absolutely no need for high 5 ‘ing’ in the wings!
