TweetHello
So yep/yay, Groundhog Day is now previewing in London – there’s been lots of fun chat about it – the Old Vic have made this video to look at:
For the next six weeks until 17 September, we’re putting a bunch of super talented actors and musicians (led by the remarkable Andy Karl as Phil Connors) through their very own Groundhog Day. Every. Single. Day. With no exceptions. Except Sundays.
We’d love you to come and see it before the really quite limited run ends in September. You may not get another chance to see it for a long time. (Or you may, but let’s not bank on that).
So grab a ticket before it gets harder to get one after our official premiere on 16 August.
Get tickets from the Old Vic here
xx

my favorite film, ever. how could a musical be better? IT IS! Extraordinary. Let’s crowdfund a transfer to the West End – I would invest in this

Congratulations Tim. Thrilled, though NOT surprised. As I have been saying, Tim Minchin is on his way to being a household name. Genius!!

Absolutely entertaining; I could hear you sing every single one of the lyrics, and yes, I really really want to know when the sheet music is available.
Thanks, Tim!

Saw this on 6th. Echo everything that’s been said before. Loved it. Fabulous casting, brilliant songs, genius set design and Andy Karl played the part to perfection. Would love to get chance to see it again. Please extend the run! And please, please produce a cast recording!!

I saw it with my husband on 4th Aug and we were totally blown away, perfect story, casting and score. Definitely want to see it again and we both have our fingers crossed for a cast soundtrack (please)! Really smashed it and created something amazing. Cannot wait to see what magical piece you create next!

Loved it so much last weekend that we’re going to see it again in September. Can’t wait – best musical/theatre experience for ages. Just brilliant and Andy Karl is phenomenal.

My face still hurts from the inane grin I had for the entire performance. My 15 year old daughter said she thought it was possibly even more enjoyable than Matilda which she has somehow seen 4 times. We had rail-restricted seats right at the top and still had a great view. I so hope that all the cast and crew get to extend and tour this fabulous production – they really deserve it.

I saw it last Saturday and was completely blown away- laughed, cried, and then left feeling utterly elated. There was a lot to live up to after Matilda and this smashed even my already-high expectations. Thank you so much Tim for creating such a beautiful score. I’ve desperately tried to get tickets to take my sister as she really wants to see it but sadly there don’t seem to be that many tickets with a non-restricted view left, so we’ve got our fingers and toes massively crossed that it stays a bit longer!!! Also, the casting of Andy Karl is genius!!!

Sorry what is that music in the background, is it new score from Tim Minchin?? I think it is!..
Got my tickets for end of August – cannot wait!
