TweetThe Outer Critics Circle are the organisation of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway.
Today, the Broadway production of Groundhog Day received FIVE nominations for the Outer Critics Circle Awards:
Outstanding New Broadway Musical
Outstanding Book of A Musical (Broadway or Off-Broadway) – Danny Rubin
Outstanding New Score (Broadway or Off-Broadway) – Tim Minchin
Outstanding Director of A Musical – Matthew Warchus
Outstanding Actor in a Musical – Andy Karl
The winners will be announced by press release on Monday 8th May, 2017, with the awards presented on Thursday 25th May, at the annual Gala Awards Dinner at Sardi’s.
