TweetHey UK! In 2019 Tim’s long-awaited tour BACK sold out in record time, received rave audience reviews, critical acclaim and in Australia won the prestigious Helpmann Award for Best Australian Contemporary Concert.

Again there will be Premium Charity Tickets. All of the income from those seats will go to Barnardo’s and Samaritans, the same two charities he supported in 2019. More details here.

I’d not heard of Tim before last night when I was watching the comedy channel on Pluto TV. I love comedy, the brilliance of comedians and their view of life! Needless to say, I was thoroughly blown away with Tim’s performance. I couldn’t believe I’d not seen him before. His piano playing expertise, his humorous take on life, his beautiful expressive eyes, and his wild and crazy energy created an experience I won’t forget! Thank you Tim! When are you coming to America? Your latest fan!

We went to see the new show Back, at Stockton-on-Tees, on Sunday night. Absolutely fantastic, thank you Mr Minchin for an excellent evening. Watch out for the Glossary of Terms, so funny.

Can I make request for ‘White wine in the sun’ for those of us who can’t get back to Australia for xmas. Going to the Plymouth Guildhall Wednesday 10th November. Thanks.

Fabulous as always…Worth risking Covid to worship at the (bare) feet of the best songwriter/comedian ever!!

Well, wow! Just saw the BACK encore tour in Birmingham last night after what seemed like an interminable Covid induced hiatus. It was worth the wait!
Even though I’ve seen the show already, it did not disappoint. The mix of songs, the emotional gear changes (manipulate us Tim, we like it!), the skill and sassiness of the band and of course, Tim’s consummate ability to entertain while making you think were all exactly as you would hope if you were writing a prescription for a damn good time. The sound mixing (often a bugbear of mine) was immaculate. Bravo all. Only complaint – you didn’t STL. Good job I’m going again.

As an atheist stuck in the buckle of the American Bible belt (Oklahoma), your comedy and songs have been a staple of my listening fare. I was so excited to hear that you were coming back, however, from what it appears there will not be an opportunity to see this tour in the States any time soon, if at all. Please tell me there are plans to record and release a DVD of this tour. If so, will it be available here?

Please come to Spain! <3

Hope you all had better luck today, I certainly did.
It is clear something was wrong with TicketMaster yesterday as today it actually used a queuing system!
Thank you to Shell the amazing web fairy for being so understanding and helpful yesterday.
Bring on October!

Hi Shell,
Bit confused, I bought the album from the online store (was previously streaming it (a lot!) through Apple Music), but I am still waiting for a presale code. I am a bit confused about:
“If you’ve yet to buy an album and you buy it from the official store before the presale ends, with the start of the general sale, at 10am Friday 12th March you’ll be sent a presale access code.”
– When should I expect to get a presale code? It doesn’t seem like much point if it comes at/after 10am on Friday!?
Shell on 10th of March 2021
I’m sorry to see that some of you have had problems accessing tickets today for the album presale. Ticketmaster say they can help:
So if you want to keep trying today then:
Ticketmaster advise they have a helpdesk where customers can get in touch: https://help.ticketmaster.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000188797
Or please contact @TicketmasterCS or @TicketmasterUK on Twitter if you’re on there – the social team have been briefed and they will help you.
There are other opportunities to grab some tickets detailed above and here: tomorrow from 10am there’s the Ticketmaster presale and they go on general sale from 10am on Friday: https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/timminchinUK.
Plus venues will be selling tickets on Friday too.

Now tried for two hours with two different presale codes, different devices, for different venues and dates, I’ve put my payment details in about 100 times and I still just get a page saying “We’re sorry, there are no more tickets available for this promotion”. It then lets me go through the whole process over again for the same seats.
How do we get access to the TIcketmaster presale? Think that’s my only hope now.
Jo on 10th of March 2021
What a con! I now have two copies of the album and logged in before 10 this morning. There were never any tickets available. :(
Laura on 10th of March 2021
Are the album pre-sale tickets for Cardiff already sold out? I’ve been online since before 10am but the site never once gave me the opportunity to purchase any tickets; I just had a spinning wheel on three different devices and now that’s disappeared and the album pre-sale option has moved to the bottom of the list.
Lou on 10th of March 2021
NO matter what I do, the purchase isn’t going through for the Plymouth date. I’ve now entered my card details and had the “securing tickets” page 18 times, and still it only comes up “no tickets available for this promotion”. Every time I go through the entire thing again to be offered the same seats, then it fails again.

Hi Neville – I’m told that the Premium Charity tickets are only available from Ticketmaster and not until Thursday morning onwards, so when you access either the Ticketmaster presale on Thursday from 10am or their General on sale on Friday from 10am you’ll be able to buy them. https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/timminchinUK
Thank you for supporting the charity tickets.
Ruth – The album presale access is for those who bought the physical album from the official store here: https://tim-minchin.lnk.to/StoreWE I’ll email you about this shortly too.
Louise – I’m sorry to hear that. Did you buy it from the official store as linked above in my reply to Ruth? No need to reply here – I’ll email you too.

How does one go about accessing the ticket master pre-sale on Thursday please?
Shell on 8th of March 2021
Hi Lucy – I’m afraid I don’t think so. Tim has just said, in an Insta vid, that there’s some scheduling difficulty this time. But I’m sure he’ll be back as soon as he can.
Hi Andy – It’s a ticket limit of 6 tickets per person and per credit card as it says on the Ticketmaster site (click the little ‘i’ at the very top of the page – bottom of the black banner for their full guidance) so that’s the limit per individual transaction… This is for the Thursday and Friday Ticketmaster sales.
The album presale is different; For that there is a 4 ticket limit per code and then it expires.

Hi Shell,
Will there be any Scottish dates announced at some point?
Andy on 8th of March 2021
Does anyone know what the limit will be for tickets bought in the presale(s)?
Having a whole family of avid Tim fans (plus partners) does make life stressful… :-)
Thanks x

Hi Kath, Plymouth Pavilions will appear in the Ticketmaster listings – it’s just taking its time. It is listed here on Ticketmaster’s About section as well as in this blog: https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/tim-minchin-tickets/artist/1152153#about
Hi Lori, I’m told ‘Generally £40 and £45 with fees on top. Some venues will have £35 seats too. Charity seats £145’.
Hi Elly, The album presale access is for those who bought the physical album – Vinyl or CD – from the official store here: https://tim-minchin.lnk.to/StoreWE.

Ticketmaster is just being a bit slow to populate its list, I think, but all dates above will be on there soon.

So sad there is no Scotland dates on this. I attended his concert a couple years ago and it was fantastic. Such a shame Scotland missed out. Better to call it an England and Wales tour.

Does the vinyl album count for getting a presale code? That seems to be the only version of the album available on the official store and while I don’t have a turntable so would prefer to buy the digital download or CD, I’d buy the vinyl format provided it gets me the presale code. Thanks.
