My Matilda song book is actually really and truly out today! I’m so excited.
You can buy it from real, live, in-the-actual-world shops and from intangible, probably-magic, online shops here and here, and – even more incorporeally – as a digital download thing.
Yay! Merry Christmas!
Update: The song book will be available at the RSC shop in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Cambridge Theatre in London’s West End, at Musicroom stores around the UK and from all good music shops. If you’re not in the UK, both online retailers (linked above) ship internationally.

Love Matilda the musical I listen to all the songs everyday. Gets me a smile. Will the Matilda company ever publish the script in a book? I have the one for Next to Normal… I really want the one with Matilda…… :D

Yippee! Love your way of phrasing things :) Always good for a chuckle on lunch break. We will definitely have to look into getting one of these from the more-or-less intangible-probably-magic shops ;-)

I saw Matilda at the Cambridge theatre 15th/12/2012 @ 19.30. Unfortunately I have to say this… I was not the only one to find it difficult to understand what was being said or rather SHOUTED… One lady complained in the interval so I hoped it would improve – it did not. Individual mic’s generally ok, the TEACHER’S voice was 100%clarity. The headmistress’ voice somewhat distorted when (he) shouted. The children (altogether) unrecognisable. Matilda’s long solo piece very poor. Reasons??? Too loud? Poor diction? Not together? Sound system? My ears (& others ears)? Wrong seat area (c upper)? OR a mix of all of those??? Production would have been excellent otherwise. Sorry but I have to say it like it is. Cappy

Hey Tim…when are you coming back to Melbourne town?
You’re Australia’s best comedian but we never get to see you.
I Would love a chance to see one of your gigs but I might have to wait a couple of years if I have to go to the UK just to see you.
