Tim’s Hosting the MICF All Stars Supershow on Channel TEN

TweetLast month, Tim hosted the 25th Melbourne International Comedy Festival Opening Night Comedy All Stars Supershow. (Yes! – it feels like the longest show title ever to type too)
He performed with some members of the Melbourne International Symphony Orchestra and introduced many of the best local and international comedians, including Mark Watson, The Pajama Men, Arj Barker, Danny Bhoy, David O’Dougherty, Mick Molloy, Jeff Stilson, Tommy Tiernan and many more.
The show will be aired on on Channel TEN, on Wednesday 13th April 2011, 8.30pm – 10.45pm.
This is only being screened in Australia I’m afraid.
Aussies, you are just so lucky, lucky, lucky…

OMFG Tim was soooo amazing at the MCIF!! I watched it on TV and his piano playing was brilliant – not to mention the lyrics, etc. Definitely one of my favorites of the night….Can’t wait for him to hit the country again xx

Well…. it was an awesome show!! I didn’t realise Tim was HOSTING! Soooo excited bout that!

Ooh er, lucky me! 25th Melbourne International Comedy Festival Opening Night Comedy All Stars Supershow (bestow some form of award on that person who ‘invented’ the copy/paste function I say!) – it was bloody awesome! Sadly I missed out on the first hour (damn you, Adam Hills in Gordon St Tonight for being so entertaining), but what I saw was great. Missed out on Danny Bhoy – sucks to be me. We saw his show at Jupiters on the Gold Coast – I laughed so hard I thought I’d busted a rib and my husband was crying.
Now I’m trying to find Tim’s song on YouTube to show it to my mother, but no joy so far. Can you tell me what the ‘name’ of it was, please?

Nice! Not only did I catch the Tim Minchin at the Opera House, but I watched it on TV in my Melbourne hotel before watching Steve Hughes, and will watch this tomorrow! Not bad for a Malteser on holiday!
