TIM IS GOD! I'm an Australian girl doing her HSC, and listening to Minchin's songs are my favourite way to relax. My boyfriend is a huge fan and he was the one who introduced me to the wonders of Minchin...now I thank him all the time for matchmaking me with my new love. ..Since I bought a copy of "So Live" I've watched it at least 12 times, whenever I've had the time. It is so cool! ..But I wish there was more sheet music of Minchin's songs...althought I'm a drummer, I would love to break with tradition and learn to play "Inflatable You" (my favourite song) on the piano. Yay for Minchin!! B.J

I've decided to tell my brother that I specifically asked you to put Storm on youtube just for his 18th birthday since I have no present for him and won't see him for months. So if you get an email or something tomorrow... just... you know... back me up? Please? Thanks. (By the way, I'm going to buy a shirt with 'All Tim's Nerds Are Hot' on it. Are you proud, or slightly frightened? Either way, still buying it. xx
Laura C on Friday, 30 January 2009
My CD keeps jumping - over use maybe!? I shall have to purchase another! Tim, can I buy shares in you? Seeing that I have brought many tickets for myself, Hannah, Chris, Kate, Richie, Georgina and Gemma for a select number of tour dates, I thought I could invest in you further on the stock market. As I am working on an on going assignment where my choice of shares are going really well and making me some cash, I thought I'd continue my efforts and invest in you. I am sure I will get a huge return on my investent as your popularity increases daily (isn't that good!) You could be in the FTSE 100!! I thought this stock market business would be quite dull but I am surprising myself on a regular basis! It quite fun!! Anyway, please share your thoughts. Have a great day xx

Dear Tim, As you can see my children are happy that you made mummy smile. I just wanted to say thank you - for helping me to breath again! You said it was a big responsibilty - well, no drama babe, the past is well and truly behind me and I am able to move on! Your performance was lovely last night at the 100 Club, we had a really good night. Martin White and the Mystery Fax Machine Orchestra were fabulous. I'm sorry for showering you with glitter - you did kinda sparkle a bit on stage!! Glad you liked the girlie mascara - stay away from the Colossal one - the wand isn't half as good.... Thank you for being so sweet and lovely and remembering about Finn. He had a great time at Mamma Mia thank you x Take care x Laura C x
Scarlet, Harrison, Oliver and Finn on Sunday, 25 January 2009
Dear Mr Tim Minchin We wanted to say thank you for making our mummy so happy. She told us she met you last night in London and has been smiling and lovely all morning. She didn't even shout when we were noisy. Mummy was quite sad for a while before, but since she heard of you she is better now. We think she took the light from you and made it all her own. We hope you liked the Khinda egg. Mummy said it broke a bit though. Do you want to come for tea. Mummy is rubbish at cooking though so we will have pizza. love from Scarlett, Harrison, Oliver and Finn

I work as a music teacher in a primary school in Australia and I was wondering if you have written any music for your children, specifically songs that they might ultimately sing. I am very aware that children love to sing music that they feel gives them credibility in the eyes of others so I often use humorous songs to get them singing. Have you got any material you can share with the little darlings?
Manx-Michelle on Friday, 23 January 2009
NERD?! Psst. Says you. Nah, you were pretty nice about us 'groupies'. Thanks. Although you made me feel very young. 15? Ah. I'm not that young am I? Jeeze. I promise I do come to your shows to see you (but seeing all the other groupies is an added bonus ;]) By the way, I love the page. It's really really cool. I do love the purple and the grabbing knees pose thing there. I'll keep listening now. Thanks again for the mention ;) <3 x

Why do you always play in Birmingham about a week after I have left it? It almost seems deliberate (I'll assume it isn't). And never Newcastle. Why? Sigh.
Manx-Michelle on Thursday, 22 January 2009
I'm having cookies but I'm not giving you any. You'd probably just get angry with me if I did give them to you- especially as they are burnt. Also a little cross at changing my name, but I guess Manx-Michelle is better for clarity's sake. Not that you particularly read the names I guess. x

Tim you were my Christams present. That is the "tickets" to your show at the Roundhouse in London. Truly the best show I have ever been too. I first saw you at the Secret Policemans Ball and you originality and use of language is simple unique. You are a superstar! You have the amazing skill to talk about serious and profound issues and mix it with laughter but the serious side of your messages are not lost in the wonderful humour.

Tim Minchin. Y'know, before you told me I had an awesome name, I'd never been told that before. Since Southbank I've been told it six times in random circumstances. Is your word law, or something...? It frightens me. xx
Willow on Saturday, 17 January 2009
Hiya, I got your DVD today, that 'So Fucking Rock Live' one that is 'exclusive to HMV'. I saw some of your songs on youtube ages and ages ago and i've finally bought the dvd! The way you are on stage is kinda how I am in my drama lessons, except less of the swearing and stuff, I really doubt my school would appreciate it! See, I have Asperger Syndrome and i'm a bit weird in my own special way, and every time I try and 'act' in drama and what not, everything always comes out a little bit..different to how it went in my head. Everyone's used to it now, but I still mess everything up and dither around mumbling and have big long pauses where I really should say something clever. What's that song called that's last on the dvd, the one where you start with 'this is my earth' and get right down to 'this is my brain, and I live in it'. I like that one, it's my favourite. I live in my brain. I'm pretty sure that no one else could cope living in it, it's very complex and confusing. It's good that people can't hear our thoughts isn't it? I'd have so many enemies if that were the case. Gosh. I do ramble on don't I? I said I go to school, but i'm actually 16 and should have left by now, but I messed it up so bad the first time, that they let me try again. So i'm stuck with a bunch of 14 year olds who have even less understanding of the way my mind works than I do. I make no sense. Just thought i'd say that, for no reason whatsoever! Bye bye! x

Bridget Mermikides on Saturday, 17 January 2009
Tim, thank you for an incredible show last night in Camden. You are inspirational; a musician and comedian of extraordinary talent. First saw you at the Godless Christmas show and was blown away by your beat poem 'Storm'. I get very emotional at the "thanks to recent scientific advances, I get to live twice as long" part because my husband had a bone marrow transplant in 2005 and is still doing fine! Thank you for preaching your atheist/rationalist beliefs, I do hope you encourage more people to wake up. Hope you have a fab tour in Aussie-land... X X X
Alex on Saturday, 17 January 2009
Hey Tim, I saw you at the Roundhouse Theatre last night. Fantastic show, I had a brilliant time. I also wanted to say that you sang Hallelujah perfectly, with the passion and sensitivity that the song deserves - I can see that it is a song you hold dear to your heart. I wish you all the best for your Oz tour and can't wait to see you again, back in England. All the best, Al

Tallulah on Friday, 16 January 2009
I feel worried and confused. You are going to die alone and stinking of cheap wine, clutching your awards and print outs of your old emails. I feel worried that all this adulation could go to your head and turn you from being essentially a bit of a goofy guy, who prettied up and who gets paid to do what he loves for a living and you will turn into a loser who who believes all the hype, you'll lose your integrity and vulnerability, everyone will be bored by you, you will disappear like, well someone who I can't remember. But I feel torn, despite my better judgement I have a crush on you! I feel very silly about it. Only a crush mind you (who the hell thinks you are a Genius?! That's insane) It gives me comfort to hope that you ARE a complete shit..I don't want to have a crush, I just want to enjoy your stuff. So please would you do something disgustingly, revolting, make sure that the media will find out, in a couple of weeks they will have ripped your world apart like a pack of frenzied dogs and then all will be well in my world again. Oh and it's something to do with your teeth (you've probably been told, how frightfully boring) so could you abandon your dental hygiene too?! Oh yuk, I feel really stupid now, but I feel have got a whiff of an idea for a song for you ( I know forgive me I sound like an idiot, everyone has a song for you, right?) I haven't got a clue about music and song..construction?? so please forgive my inadequacy, but the idea is pretty good, if you want it you can have it, email me (we can fight it out at a later date in court over royalties). Also why not have a template email so that people can spare their fingers and time? You can have THIS idea gratis: HI/HELLO/HEY/HEYO: Tim You: ROCK/ ARE AWESOME/ARE A GENIUS/ SOOO FUNNY/ARE A BRILLIANT MUSICIAN/SO CUTE/ARE THE CAT'S PYJAMAS I Love Your: DVD/HAIR/FEET/EYELINER/SONGS/WIFE I want to: SEE YOU/BRING YOU COOKIES/KEEP YOU/FUCK YOU/READ YOUR METER xxxxxxxxx/ :) / ;O) / LOL

So yeah I think I will sign up to the emails now :D.. I love the fact that you do your own website, it makes it feel like I'm actually incontact with you, not some random PA that knows you and speaks on your behalf.. feels more real I guess. Well anyway I hope you give me a shout back but until then, keep rocking dude :).

To my husband I refer to you as Mr Super Tasty. He is understanding, you are a phenomenal artist, if you were not as good as you are tasty there might be an issue in our marital bliss. That said, is there anything besides the mp3 "Drowned" (which is great btw) available in the USA? I saw you on Graham Norton show and was simply captivated. I would love to put more of you on my ipod. Any hope of a US tour perhaps? I'll get you a sweet booking in Pittsburgh, PA if you ever come through. Til then, you rawk yo!

Hello again, Oh this one appears at the top, well I suppose that gives slightly more chance of you seeing me and my frankly terrible witticisms and equally atrocious spelling. I suppose I ought to really take this one seriously, but the internal fight to keep this rather dry humour (hmmm, very unlike me) going is astonishingly powerful. However, I should mention you are a wonderful pianist and almost as good at singing as me... ... I can be famous in my head if I want... But anyway, regards and all that jazz, hope you keep playing and if you ever read this - for lack of a better more appropriate phrase - rock on! Rosie

I love him. Fact. As do Gareth, Mike, Sally & Jackie :) I'm now spreading the love and hilarity of the brilliance that is Tim. How are you little sis? SILVAAAA SHOES!' YOU SEE?! Incredible! Yay. ^_^
Edmund Bleakley on Sunday, 11 January 2009

Elf & Cub, Brighton on Saturday, 10 January 2009
Hey Tim, We only discovered your stuff a few weeks ago - the world needs more of your comedy! Kudos. Now you're touring in the UK, you _must_ come to Brighton again. Seriously. Please. We'll make you cookies and everything. :o)
Grey Beret on Saturday, 10 January 2009
feature films seem to be your new thing...and you do them very well....Im from the central coast in Aus and travelled for 4.5 hours to see Rock n Roll Nerd at the dendy in Newtown...this travelling also included waiting on Newtown and Central Stations at something close to midnight....which i wouldnt recomend...But i loved Rock n Roll Nerd... 2 Fists 1 heart also looks fantastic... my only hope is that it is general release, unlike so many fantastic australian movies....not that i dont mind travelling to Newtown but their screens arent big enough...lol... i will definatly be attending your stint at the sydney comedy festival (sydneys attempt to copy melbourne). your interview with Andrew Denton was also fantastic..
Lachlan Cameron on Friday, 9 January 2009
Heyo Tim. I'm a huge fan... Obviously not the first. Oh well. Anyway, I recently saw you on Andrew Denton which reinvoked my obsession with your fantastic work. I've listened to your new single - "Drowned" dozens of times since I bought it this morning and only just realized the fantastic wit of some of the lyrics, even within a seemingly serious song. It moved me so much that my heart ached and then made me laugh uproariously. So glad you're back in Australia. I'm going to your Sydney concert on April 4th. Look out for a pudgy teenager in a hat, or, as you'll most likely see it, glare off stage lights. With many obsessive stares, Lachlan C (A.K.A Capt. Spectacular)
Laura C on Friday, 9 January 2009
Hey - a message for Brenton about the eye liner thing! I appear to be only wearing a lot of black eyeliner lately - well, all the time infact! My friend George remarked that perhaps I am getting slightly obsessed now!! I reccomend the new Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara - waterproof is best as it doesn't run when I a) cry with laughter b) cry when i listen to Drowned! Sending hugs to everyone xx
Nick Weaser on Thursday, 8 January 2009
Tim I recently bought your DVD "So Rock" after seeing your appearances on both the Secret Policeman's Ball, and Graham Norton. I think your work is that of genius - absolutely hilarious. I have now sat and watched it 4 times, each with a different member of the family! I really hope you have every success in the UK as you honestly deserve it my man. I know you have probably heard it repeatedly, but please do start touring more in the UK - I will spread the word. Hope the tour goes well back in Oz. Keep up the good work
Michelle on Thursday, 8 January 2009
Tim, I'm listening to your CDs I bought on the 22nd right now and they are both awesome. I can really hear how your emphasis on certain parts has changed, and how some of your stand up has evolved. The songs are still brilliantly brilliant, and hearing 'Fat Children' (which is unavailable anywhere else, really) reminds me why I starting liking you in the first place- not that I could ever forget! You really are brilliant and I am very glad to have discovered you. I very much look forward to an opportunity to see your inevitably jaw dropping, fancy-tickling, first person ownership of cup of tea performance. xxx
Neil - Taunton on Thursday, 8 January 2009
Watched the "So Fucking Rock" dvd last night. First time I'd seen Tim. Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! Please start touring in the UK a bit more, especially the South West!! I'll spread the word.
Brenton on Thursday, 8 January 2009
you are so much better at applying eyeliner than me! incidently you are probably the reason I started wearing eyeliner... (Im a dude if you dont get it :p)
Kevin on Thursday, 8 January 2009

Bo on Wednesday, 7 January 2009
When is the next uk tour planned? saw you at Ed Fringe, I need to get another Live comedy fix. Its weird now people are starting to know who i've been going on and on about. Keep up the good work, looks like you're finally at risk of becoming famous.
Howard Sambrook on Wednesday, 7 January 2009
I'm new to your material, having only seen So F**king Rock over the Christmas period - You're comedy Mr Minchin is spectacular, some of the most clever stand-up i've seen in many years. I look forward to hopefully seeing you on tour in the UK pretty soon. You've certainly developed a following amongst my friends. Simply brilliant. Thanks
Em on Tuesday, 6 January 2009

Heyo Tim. Thought you might like to know that the little picture thumbnails in your "pics" section take me straight to the homepage when I click them. So I have to squint if I want to see arty professional photos of you. Oh dear.
Tonie_Raquel on Monday, 5 January 2009
Okay so I just have to say that I love all your work, the lyrics are just hilarious and cleverly witty! But man I just have to say you are freak when it comes to the piano! I got So Live for Xmas, and I then went out to buy the CD to put it on my ipod, getting with the ages, I am lol. My fav song I would have to say is 'The Guilt Song' and 'Ten Foot Cock And A Few Hundred Virgins' and then all the rest. lmao! Oh I am babbling on, by I have to say I screamed and shrieked and screamed once more when I found out that you were coming to Geelong!!! So cya there in all you brilliant glory! - Tonie-Raquel

Kirstie on Sunday, 4 January 2009
Hi. If there is a way to say 'I love you' without sounding like a stalker, I can't be bothered to think of it, so I just want to say that you rock. Also, if you do another tour of England, would you please come to Luton? And bring shitloads of merchandise? So far, my 'collection' of paraphernalia consists of one DVD and some audio files... Much love, K xx
annawaits on Sunday, 4 January 2009
Finally got round to listening to the band version of Drowned (which, thanks to lines such as "A breakdown on a motorway / A heart attack on Christmas day", Alanis Morissette thinks should be called Ironic). Love the backing vocals on the first 'I'm drowned' in the choruses. :) Hug. x

Hi Tim, First saw you at the secret policemans ball here in the UK and i laffed so much i nearly did a little wee ;) When i saw your canvas bag song on your website i actually got goose bumps when the crowd started clapping! It is quite amazing for one person to be so musically talented coupled with being a comedy genius, but thats enough about me ;) ha ha ha You are sooooo original and cute too which is always a bonus. I wish you every success as you deserve it, Laters Taters - Debzzz UK

Paige on Saturday, 3 January 2009
Flippin 'eck! So many people love you! Don't blame them though. You are practically a musical genius, plus you can play the piano without looking at it, and when I try to do that, it sound like shit. But everything I play/write/sing is usually crap, but you can'tlose hope... that's a lie!Heeheehee. I love your music and your lyrics are hilarious. Where do you get your inspiration for it all? Hope you get to read this. :D Paige xoxox

Hey Tim How are you? Good i hope, i saw you on Graham Norton sshow the other night, you was amazing like always sir MAS but i couldn't help but notice you were straight on and off, which i'll admit disappointed me slightly cause you didn't get a chat like every other guest did! I was more dissapointed for myself though selfish i no but i love to see you in interveiws cause you speak such scense and wisdom and i learn so many incredable words from your vocab which has helped to stop me being percived as a dumb blonde so thank you for that, anyway i'm ramberling MAS! lots of love to you Tim hope you ad a good new years eve and hope you have a wicked tour in Australia! Em x-x-x
