You know, I use to have a boyfriend... I felt complete... "full" if you will, but I broke up with him... Then I met another guy, who made me feel even fuller... Then, that same guy said "hey, did you ever heard about Tim Minchin?" "Who?" I said... So then, I met you... and that makes me feel SO complete! :D After that, I was looking for one of your videos, so I googled "Tim Minchin" and I found this page... And THAT made me almost explode of happiness! :D Then I found a chocolate in my pocket, and that was too much for the same day... so maybe you're not that fantastic... Lesson: Is so easy to complete me... >_< No, seriously, you rule! :D Can I be your Argentinian crazy fan who tries desperately to be as great, smart, coherent, spicy, sharp, and just * insert appropriate text to describe such perfection here * as you?

P.S. Your song Perfect was recently modified for a school play my daughter performed in... There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Love ya xx

Tim, love your work so much, you're a true genius! But you knew that. Have read that you were born in Northampton UK, my hometown, but you don't mention this in your bio on here. Is this true? Would so love it if you were! I am a huge fan, missed you when you came here in 09 as my hubby was ill but will get to see you somewhere. Can't wait for Crimbo to get your new DVD!

I cannot wait to see you again at your February gig in Perth (and be wonderfully insulted all over again by your show).... your shows are fantastic and anyone that misses them has no idea what they have missed out on. So much talent for one person, its almost unfair! Thanks Tim.

I was just introduced to your work by an Australian friend (don't blame him - it was unintentional) and I can't believe I missed your St. Louis, Missouri concert literally by days! Please come back very soon and announce your appearance with much grandiosity so I can be sure to secure a front row seat ~

Well Tim, I have just bought my Australian release DVD of the Heritage orchestra tour and am looking forward to a great night in watching a fabulous performance, even though I saw the same show here live (and am going again in February). We just can't get enough of all your talent! And tomorrow night we are having champagne dinner so we can vicariously celebrate the opening of Matilda. We hope it is a really great evening over there in London. Warmest congratulations on the Evening Standard award for Matilda - we saw the photo of you and your lovely wife at the Savoy on the internet. Wow, Tim, she really is "unique and beautiful". As they say, "behind every great man etc etc". All the best!

Hey Tim I like everything you do I loved the Comedy Prom this year. I have down loaded your Xmax song and pleased the proceeds will go to the Austistic Society my son is 24 now and has struggled and its nice to know there are peole like you who support these very worthy causes which make a difference to others lives. Thank you. My new grandson who is 4 months old does not sleep at all so I downloaded your lullaby song for my other son which he listens to on his ipod as he walks around the floor at 4 in the morning still trying to get his son to sleep: he goes to work for a rest Keep producing those wonderful songs.

When my partner proposed to me this year the first decision we made was what our first dance would be...and it was an easy decision to make...we've chosen " you grew on me". Ours was most definitely " a creepy uppy kinda love" and I wouldn't change it for the world! thank you Mr Minchin for our special song.

Mr. Minchin was revealed to me on the SHOWTIME series Green Room. When I saw his album available on iTunes I downloaded it straight away and could not have been happier with how sharp and lovely it was, but I was quite taken aback by how particularly beautiful White Wine In The Sun was as the closing track. I have been brought to tears of laughter by a comedian before, but never to just plain tears. That song, as an exclamation point on the whole album and the entirety of your performance, is quite breathtaking and I find myself craving listening to it frequently. The number of songs that have reduced me to tears for whatever reason can be numbered on the digits of my hands and this ranks amongst them. Cheers to you and all you are, Mr. Minchin. I do ever so wish I lived in London so as to see your Matilda musical in its original incarnation. That book (as well as all of Roald Dahl's works) were of quite substantial significance to my youth. I shall wait patiently for a stateside production of it :) Thank you

sorry! I'm just a simple guy with no great ambitions. I do not know what brought me to write here in hopes of an answer ... anyway, I would say that you are the only artist in the world for whom I hold some kind of feeling. I do not know how you do it, but there is a sincerity in his art, one thing that gives us warmth, you know? Maybe I'm being childish or emocial too, but I know his work to three years and has not found a single thing that made me change my mind, or at least one millimeter less admire his personality and his work. I'ma big intusiasta yours here in Brazil and will be until we can all see what you do. you are a master at what he does and deserves a huge success! Strong embrace of his eternal admirer Igor Medeiros Ps: I hope not to have been a fan boring!

I dreamt last night that me and my family were round your house. You were out (doh!) but your wife was there, busily writing a novel. It was a lovely country house, with lots of panelling and the children were playing in a sand pit in your garden. We tidied up and thanked your wife for kindly letting us visit and she said we were welcome to come again, when you were home. If only dreams came true.......sigh.....

I've been listening to you for the past five years. I'll have to admit, I was hooked at the start. I've always loved play the piano and telling jokes. You seemed to have mastered the both at the same time. Tim, you're an inspiration!!! If you come to the USA, on tour or for whatever reason, it would be a pleasure to jam with a piano master. Best wishes to you and you're whole team.
Mel on Tuesday, 15 November 2011

Hi Tim, best of luck for the opening of "Matilda" next week. I am really hoping it has a LONG run - also for selfish reasons. My husband has taken pity on me playing the CD over and over and has just said that he is even willing to fly to London (from Sydney) for us to see it - but it couldn't be till later in 2012. So I am hoping that it becomes a permanent fixture. Surely everyone over there will want to see it - and all those people coming for the Olympic Games too. How lovely to have a spark of happiness and a ray of sunshine in this often sad old world. I do hope your family enjoys the opening night.
Kevin on Monday, 14 November 2011

Hi Tim, I'm loving having the CD of 'Matilda' and am playing it over and over - have just ordered more copies for the youngsters in our extended family. Just one thing - I know you had it orchestrated, but the wonderful piano accompaniments sound JUST like the kind of thing you would write, so I am sure you composed them. They are gorgeous and I think they should be mentioned in the album notes. BTW the orchestration is very clever too. I can't pick a favourite song - they're all addictive. And just one other thing - whom do I contact to try to get the BBC Comedy Proms released on DVD - we're missing out here in Australia!

Hi Tim!! My niece showed me some of your clips at the youtube, and I laughed my ass off... not literarry, I still have my ass in tact, but you know what I mean... I was sold when i saw your clip "confessions" and I´we since watched propbly every video, and listened to every audio clip there is to be found on the internet. Bad thing is that I live in Finland, and I don´t expect you to came here and perform... So I need to somehow come up with enough cash to get to your show in states (??) ...or where ever that is you are currently touring... I hope I get to see you soon, and meanwhile, all the best for you and your endevours!! -dissocial-
Abigail Kemp on Tuesday, 8 November 2011
hey Tim, ive been a fan of yours for years and finally i got to see you on the 26 october at city hall, my parents didnt tell me were we were going, then when i sore the t shirts i suddenly realised and burst out crying with happiness i couldnt believe i was seeing you . lol i had seen and heard all the things you did on that night and new every thing word for word but it was still funny, my mum and dad looked around and thought it was worrying that i looked like the youngest person there. your just the best! i can play some of your songs on piano, my parents find it strange about how much i sound like you when i play your lullaby i can play and sing that quite fast now, my next dream is to play music with you either on piano or be a violinist in an orchestra you play with but it will be a long time before im old enough to be in an orchestra fit for a king like you lol, but that would be amazing. any way i just want to say, please carry on with your shows for at least another six years because then i should be able to drive myself to all of your shows, any way if you've read all of this (which you probably got bored after the first 4 sentences of me blabbering on) then thank you and i hope to see you again and even meet you next time, and hopefully youll be listening to my music in the future, ive got a prety good start at it at the min with people nagging me to do a phew tunes on violin in concerts and show at school, and it only took me 7 months to get to playing grade 6 stuff on piano any way i must stop, mums wants laptop and i have music practice calling my name to bye tim, nice typing to you lol.
Myra on Monday, 7 November 2011
Tim, i found you by mistake when a facebook friend asked his friends to pick their favorite version of Hallelujah. Of course i had heard Leonard Cohen's and Jeff Buckley's versions but i was amazed a how many others i could find on youtube. And there you were...From that moment on i was hooked. You can't image how excited i was when Lupo's announced that you would be performing there. You were brilliant. You are smart, funny, irreverent, personable and extrememly talented. My husband is now a fan. We can't wait to see you "live" again but for now your cd's and youtube videos will have to do. I was especially impressed at how age diverse your audience was. We're in our 60's and yet there were many in their 20's surrounding us.
Chris West on Monday, 7 November 2011
Tim, you are a legendary musician, lyricist, comedian, (r)evolutionary icon, and so much more. Your views on so many diverse and pertinent topics are truly inspirational. I feel the same way about so many of the issues you sing about. But as an American, I never knew how to effectively talk about my viewpoints with others. I agree that so many of us are too closed minded, and just don't want to hear an outside opinion even if it's explained rationally, logically, and in your case hilariously. Your songs and wise words are the means of how I can express myself now. Albeit they come with obscenities, but a little profanity shouldn't fucking offend anyone anyways. I would truly love to see one of your shows live and if at all possible, meet you in person. If nothing else just to shake your hand and say thank you. Thank you for doing what you do, and saying the things you say. If you're ever in Minnesota, I'll be sure to have a bottle of white wine for you to enjoy in the sun. :) Cheers!

I may or may not have emailed your booking agent for the States about whether or not you'd be performing in Toronto. In my defense, I went to "contact" Before I noticed "Guestbook".Not sure why I thought I could get in contact with you, but what's done is done. I can assure you I'm not a stalker. P.P.S Love what you've done with the living room. haha :P Just kidding. All the best!

Well, dear Tim, the CD of "Matilda" that I ordered from the RSC finally made it to my letterbox in Sydney today. I was so excited that I played it straight away in the car on the way to work and have to admit that I nearly drove off the road with laughter when "Loud" came on. What a treat the whole CD is! I hope you sell loads and loads of copies and lighten the lives of millions of people. It's a masterpiece. How on earth did you come to be so clever??!!

Dear Tim, I just heard your live show/interview with Marksayshi on the Sirius/XM and have to say that "Tim Minchin Week" has been great. I've been living under a rock and not heard of you 'til recently - well this week, really. It's simply fate that I bought a new car, got free XM, tuned in and heard you. So thank you fate... well, actually if I hadn't bought the car I guess none of this would have happened. So I guess I should really thank and congratulate myself. Well done ME!... Who are we talking about again?

I know that you have heaps of registered followers on Twitter, but I want you to know that you actually have more (probably many more). I love reading your links and following your comments, but am not registered (husband worried about piles of spam through Twitter). I really admire your stand on things that matter and always pass the links on to friends. In a world where so many lack moral courage I think it is just fantastic that you use your profile to keep us all informed. To say I admire you is an understatement. (I am also very proud you are an Australian).

thanks for the terrific arrangement of "Perfect" at the BBC Proms - am a recent but now huge fan of the older generation that rails against the idiocy of religion - As an English teacher in America, I plan on using this piece (its the 'cleanest' version and therefore acceptable for classrooms) and the poetry of the lyrics as part of a life lesson on being yourself and trusting yourself - it plays well with the poetry of Ralph Waldo emerson and his transcendental ideals. Thanks again - will look for you again in the states for the live show and yes, I am ready for this!
