Just finished last episode of UPRIGHT. Not sure if you relish awards; cannot think how you would lose actor/writer awards for this great series. Loved yours and Milly's performances. Loved the story, the sites and sights of the West, and the piano. Many tears at the end of the last episode. One of those stories that you wish would not finish. Thank you for idea/writing and the original songs. Chris

Tim, "Thank You God" is one of the most important songs Ever In My Life and it changed my life drastically. You don't believe me, of course. You are skeptic and I respect you for this. So let me prove it to you. :) I was once in a relationship with Catholic woman and I was at the time pretty shallow atheist who was on the very beginning of his journey in that direction. Somehow I found your work and I found "Thank You God". I was amazed by the music (I was a drummer for 10 years), I was amazed by the lyrics (skepticism in action), I was amazed by your work generally speaking. I played that particular song to my believing girlfriend and I was so damn curious about her reaction. The only thing she said after listening with me was this: - Why he called Sam's mom a bitch? It's rude. No further thoughts. No deeper reflections upons her beliefs. "And try as I like, a small crack appears in my diplomacy dike" I couldn't sit quiet with growing concers about our mutual future. I was afraid how she would rise our hypothetic future child etc. I was starting to see that religion can and in fact does poison reasoning, critical thinking and many more things. I tried talking with her about her belief in God as gently as I could but she refused to go there. This is one of the main reason why we choose to go separate ways. This topic was more and more important to me but she wanted to just don't talk about it. Fast forward: Few years later, two atheistic relationships later, I couldn't sit quiet on the next level in my life: publicly. I stopped playing drums. I started first Polish (and first European) atheistic live call-in show where we talk with believers about what they believe and why. We are live every Sunday at 18:00 (Polish time zone), on YouTube. The show is called Stacja Ateizm (Atheism Station). Right now we are preparing the launch of third season. Tim, you are one of the most important person in my life. Your music is amazing. Your activism is amazing. I dream about meeting you in person if only for just one moment. I wish I could tell you face-to-face how much your work changed my life. Right now I live in different city with different friends and my whole life is different. I am surrounded by people who understand the message of "Thank You God" the same as I do. I can't even imagine where I would be if I didn't play your God-damn-little-mother-fucking-amazing-song that day to that woman. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Take care and have a nice life. :) Your biggest fan, Leszek from Poland P.S. If I am not your biggest fan I dare you to prove me wrong. :)
