Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

I have just heard Tim Michin acceptance speech for honour doctorate from his okd college. The 9 points to a life philosophy is totally brilliant, so kind, full of hope and love, logic and truth. Where can I find a copy of his speech? Kindest Regards Trish Findlater

Hi Tim, Just wanted to thank you for the countless hours of pleasure that Matilda's songs have given my family: best musical score ever!

Hi Tim and Gang, Are you planning on releasing the October record release event as a download or DVD? I watched the concert many times over the 48 hours, I would love to have it to watch again. Here’s an idea - we purchase download or DVD, but also support any cause close to your heart. All the best, Celicia

Dear Tim, Today I received the vinyls and CDs I ordered in August. I got to sit on the sofa reading your writing, the small print, the dedications, the names of the musos & artists & engineers & mixers & studios just like in days of yore. It actually made me cry. You have made this thing of wonder and joy for the pleasure of your "................ furiously loyal fans," You 'get' us and love us for the heartfelt geeks we are. I feel such overwhelming gratitude for what you have brought to my life in just two short years. How lucky I am to have braved a flight from Vancouver to the UK to see Matilda and the last three shows in Southend! The night may come before I get another chance like that again. I wonder, did you ever get that little book Learning to Die I sent via circuitous means? Robert Bringhurst too seeks to find trees & be part of the wild to live by its rules. Your art and your music is a miraculous accompaniment for this very special, strange, unique living of life. Look up. Look up at the stars. Thanks xxx Carollyne
