Hi Tim, I have to say that I think you are one of the funniest and certainly the most brillant performers I have ever seen - and I don't usually write fan mail either! I am sure in another life you could have been a nuclear physicist. I will be coming to see you in Melbourne and will drag along as many of my friends as I can. Keep up the good work.

Not to appear rude but after seeing predudice for the first time at the weekend, I looked up your oncoming tour dates to discover that your in edinburgh on my birthday in April. I can happily hold up two fingers to all the poor sods who wont be joining us for what will be a great birthday present to myself. Thanks and keep smiling :)
Tania Kunze on Wednesday, 26 January 2011
Saw your story on ABC1 - totally loved it. Well done mate, it's so refreshing to see someone being totally and originally creative with all the shit modern life throws your way. I don't usually get excited about much new music - 'cause I'm usually a backyard, raw feeling, doing it for the love of it fan, but you've been able to keep that in your work. I laughed, teared up and appreciated the musical quality all at once. Will definately go to your show, if you are ever in Adelaide. I hope you are enjoying being a new parent. Take care
Shannen on Wednesday, 26 January 2011
Just watched your documentary on ABC...thank you for sharing and baring some of your soul. Playing piano to your daughter when she was just a wee one was very inspiring...it made me want to go into my sons' bedroom and sing old blues at the top of my lungs, they'll have to wait until tomorrow, poor boys! Keep up the awesome work, see you when you next come to Melbourne.
Lars on Wednesday, 26 January 2011
Come play in them Netherlands! Otherwise I have to go all the way to London, which is a silly place.
Thom Bartleman on Wednesday, 26 January 2011
On your Conan appearance, he mentioned you touring (presumably America, PLEASE CANADA TOO!!!) this summer. Can you elaborate on this. We thought your double bill with Bo Burnham was amazing and all too brief. Thanks
Cassie Anne on Wednesday, 26 January 2011
Having not known you existed until about a month ago (I'm not often in control of the TV remote), my flatmates pulled up the 'Inflatable You' vid during our Comedy eve, and I have to say that it was just excellent. I've never paid much attention to musical comedy, or comedy in general, save QI, Jimmy Carr and Lee Evans, but your act is just fantastically original, and since I've been surfing your other works I've really come to admire your intriguing (and sometimes hilariously and embarrassingly explicit) material. From what I've seen, you seem to be genuine in your approach, sincere in your delivery, and artistic with your content, and that's a great quality for any comedian and musician. So this is a note to say thanks for the work that you do, and keep it up! I'll be watching your Tweets to check on any shows you do in the UK south as I'm by London, and I'm grateful (probably not the right word, but it's 3am) for the enthusiasm you put into your performances. Thanks a bunch. :D

hey again Tim, i was just wondering wether there is an age limit on your shows, what with your language and everything? just hoping to maybe come see you at the royal albert hall :) and also where can i get your 'so f*cking rock' album on my ipod? you are my favourite musician and comedian, and well done on your US tv debut; inflatable you on Conan was the best version i've seen so far!

Adam on Sunday, 23 January 2011
Hey Tim, saw you on Conan the other night. Great stuff! You should definitely try to play at the fox theatre in St. Louis. (where I live!)
Dorothy on Friday, 21 January 2011
Please, please, please - tell us you're doing more than the one set in NJ when you're on the East Coast in May. You're going to be doing other things while in you're in the area- maximizing your time - RIGHT?????
Catherine on Friday, 21 January 2011
Tim, you are brilliant. Since seeing you on Conan, I have watched your three comedy shows and your documentary, and I am completely hooked. My world is brighter because of your work. Thank you. I shared Inflatable You, Prejudice, and White Wine in the Sun (an absolutely beautiful song) with my father, and he is now a fan of yours too.
Harry on Friday, 21 January 2011
Tim, GET YO ASS TO NEW ZEALAND!!! Only across the ditch, Wellington preferably. I discovered your talent in late 2009, after seeing you appear on The Graham Norton Show. And LOVED your music & comedy ever since. I have learnt 'Peace Anthem For Palestine', and would love to learn 'The Good Book' & 'Prejudice'. You should really consider releasing your leather bound song book, I certainly would rush to get it. The chords just aren't enough, sorry. =] I have got quite a few people into you, please come and tour NZ!!! If you do.....I'll get a group of ...groupies and come to all your shows!!!
seda on Thursday, 20 January 2011
It is such an awesome talent that you have! Try visiting Turkey, too:)
Babs on Thursday, 20 January 2011
Hi. Would like to let you know that ever since you were on Conan I have searched every inch of internet for you and absorb all of the material I could wrap my eyes around and sink my ears into...I cannot believe you have been out there all this time and I didn't realize I didn't have you in my life. Since I lost George Carlin I have not found a soul who could get to me like you have. Please come back to the states (east coast NY or Philly, both) when on tour, I will advertise tirelessly to fill your venue!! Love your naughty bits, could be inflatable if asked, B
Sascha on Thursday, 20 January 2011
For Tim, whenever he may read it: Holy hell, man! My boyfriend just made me watch Ready for This, me having never even heard of you before, and .... this sentence is taking way too long to write. I don't know the words. Awesome, maybe, in its original sense. I just sat there, literally shaking with excitement as the show unfolded, my faced shaped in a permanent, childish grin of perfect wonder and my cheeks flushing red and hot with adrenalin. I have now decided that I love you. Oh, not in the normal, respectfully aware of your boundaries I-like-your-work kind of way, but in the way where I am writing this on my phone as I drive to your home, clutching your photo in my other hand and rehearsing my rambling, deluded speech for when I sneak up on you in your driveway, stick a syringe in your neck, pin you to the ground and shout beautiful words at you until you love me back. So you know. Just a heads up.
Toni on Thursday, 20 January 2011
Awesome.
Matt on Wednesday, 19 January 2011
Hi Tim! You are a truly amazing songwriter, performer, and comedian. I saw you in Manchester just before christmas, you were such an inspiration! Not to mention hilarious! hope you come back soon!
Troggles on Wednesday, 19 January 2011
Hi Tim! I'm going to see you in March with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. I probably won't come and get autographs afterwards, because I have no idea what to say to someone who makes me laugh as hard as you do, except maybe 'HURR YOU FUNNY HA GINGER!". So to save myself the disgrace I might just put chocolate pudding on the edge of the stage before the show begins as a token of my love. Am I allowed to call you a ginger if I'm only a ginger when I stand in the sun?
Shae on Wednesday, 19 January 2011
Come to the USA for a tour please.
Tom on Wednesday, 19 January 2011
Hi Tim it's Tom again! Please please please can we have the lyrics to "When I grow up"? I have had it going round my head constantly, and it's infuriating only having the few lyrics that I can remember from hearing you play it, and hearing it in the show. Ta muchly!
Melanie (cracked windscreen) Preston on Tuesday, 18 January 2011
How absolutely lovely to see you 'up close' in Stratford. I only wish I had brought you cookies... Oh, and why have I never noticed what utterly gorgeous legs you have?
Whitney on Tuesday, 18 January 2011
So my TiVo, for some reason, only records Conan sporadically. That being said I was lucky enough to get to see the episode you were on. It was fantastic and hysterical. Can't wait for more.
Marc on Tuesday, 18 January 2011
I do believe I am ready for this.
Nigel on Monday, 17 January 2011
Saw you last night in Stratford Tim, absolutely superb as always. Loved the Quark joke, although it took a while to explain it to my wife (she's a medical nerd, not the particle variety) keep up the good work, and you are right, you are too good for sitcoms and the BBC ! From the bloke you said had a SHINY HEAD !
Skye on Monday, 17 January 2011
Came to see you at RSC yesterday - I would say it was a mutually indulgent experience :-) Loved the music, the wordplay and the way you really considered the answers to audience questions. It really made my day - my husband will be sick that he missed it...... sent to India on business?? Weak excuse don't you think! Thanks, Tim - looking forward to coming to see you again soon.
Tom on Monday, 17 January 2011
Tim, Thanks for the fantastic concert last night in Stratford, I have to agree with the person that asked about your music being written down. The lead sheets would be a fantastic help to working out your songs (I don't care for dots but chords, yes please)! I would especially love the lullaby that you wrote for your first kid and the song beauty. I have to admit I was the muso on the front row that agreed rather enthusiastically about the idea of a science nerdy musical! Oh, about the cast recording having to be "just right", the best way in my opinion would be just you and your piano. I also saw Matilda yesterday, it was fantastic but in my opinion nothing can beat you singing "when I grow up"! But you should definitely write a playout for the band when it moves to the Westend. Sorry for the rather rambling comment! Thanks again for a fantastic evening, and thank you for being a wonderful inspiration.
Sandra on Monday, 17 January 2011
I admire your work, it's brilliant! And sure you appeal to the teenage market!! When are you coming to Portugal?! That'd be great!
Katie D'Alessandro on Monday, 17 January 2011
Saw you in Toronto last year and became an instant fan. You are absolutely brilliant!!! The song about the Catholic church was priceless. I especially loved that the couple sitting beside me abruptly stopped laughing and clapping during that song, which just made me laugh and clap louder!! Please come back to Toronto soon!! Sure Canadians are nice and polite, but many of us have a dark and twisted side too, which means there's lots of love for you here!!
Emma W. on Monday, 17 January 2011
As suggested in the Fucking Annoying Questions page, I will state here: please please please come back to Boston :) You have a large following here, and we love you to bits. Keep rocking :)

Please come tour the states! Saw you on Conan. Seriously one of the most brilliant hilarious things I've seen in a while. Don't change a thing. Or do, whatever. You're onto something great. Now I can slow down my overload of Louis CK. Well done!

Dustin on Sunday, 16 January 2011
Mister Minchin. I have also learned of your musically inclined comedic genius through watching Conan. I have to say, you have taken Stephen Lynch's place as my favorite singing comedian. You are quite hilarious and too adorable for your own good. I agree with whoever posted before me about playing in the Bay Area, as i have family out there and it would be increasingly easy for me to make it out there for a show. Also, if you'd like to play Vegas, that would be great too because that's where I live. And what better a place for you to play than the city of sin, eh? And if you do, i will, (i repeat I WILL) bring you cookies! Cheers!
Beatriz on Sunday, 16 January 2011
Dearest Minchin, I just learned about you watching Conan the other day! It was an awesome performance! You're amazing. I hope you do come to the U.S. again so that I can see you live. San Francisco/Bay Area please.
Mike on Saturday, 15 January 2011
Thank whatever deity you wish, I'm so glad that you made your American debut! My family has been waiting for over two years for you to come to the weird "creationist believing" America. I've showed the politically correct "If I didn't have you, youtube version, to about 300 people generating grassroots demand for your performances in this country. Hell, I bought your DVDs knowing they wouldn't play on American DVD players (but play on computers!), just to watch your concerts! I must say, the humor between the songs is extraordinary! South Park, Dennis Miller and Billy Joel wrapped up in an Oz'ie!

My husband and I just recently discovered you and have become mildly obsessed. Listening to your lyrics, I feel like you are channeling my husband's thoughts and values with your comedy. It's kind of scary actually. Please come to Texas, yes, you have fans in the lone star state. I promise we are not all redneck, black and white thinkers. Austin is quite lovely.

Europe is really nice. There are people here, who speak English and like Tim Minchin (if you happen to know the guy). Poland is the county to go to; a girl called Katie went nuts over you (which means she cries every time she hears "Not Perfect"). I don't love you. I don't even know you, so I can only picture in my mind who you are. I like that picture, though. Cheers from Poland.

Hey Tim, just wondering, on your australian Ready for This you do a stand up routine on your wife's humor and dark humor after 'If I Didn't Have You' but on the uk version you talk about a naming day of a baby called Jesika, just wondering why you changed it? I think that they're both hilarious but i just slightly prefer the bit on your Wife's humor :) but just to let you know im 15 (your music/act really appeals to the teenage market!) and think you're the best musician/comedian ever and really want to see you live sometime! I keep trying to convert all my friends into Tim fans, and they all love you too! Happy New Year and all that, keep doing what your doing, thanks :)

Hey Tim 15 and obsessed with your stuff, but did you know that you cannot view The Pope Song on youtube if you are not 18? It's cool because I can see it here, but I'm still annoyed. Come to Liverpool or Manchester soon? You'd fill the echo several times over I'm sure :)
Anita on Thursday, 6 January 2011
Please come t'south again soon as myself and my lovely mates want to see you live - unless I can convince them to go to Glasgow! Croydon sucks (central to us all) but here or somewhere near - Caterham has a few venues, you could rock Caterham! Someone's got to soon pleeeeeease.... Please come and make us all giggle our tits off... :-)

Happy New Year, Tim - and thank you so much for donating the profits from "White Wine in the Sun" to the National Autistic Society. Very much appreciated by all of us who have family members with autism or Asperger's. Kate E xx

Hello. I feel rather strange leaving comments, but I will stick with it. I just turned 16, I got tickets for Matilda & an audience with Tim Minchin for my birthday & Christmas. I did not really get much else from anyone else as it was what I asked for as for a few years. My dad is the one who is taking me and we are coming down from Scotland (skipping school on the Monday to come back). He got us cheap tickets & for your show & as I understand it we are not even beside each other, probably just as well as he will not have my laugh to embarrass him as once I start I can not stop. I am sure it will be a great day and I hope that the New Year is good to you and your family and of course to everyone else who may stumble across this. Many thanks for making my year (last year and probably this one). Love Megan x.x

I first heard of you a year or so ago from a friend who said you'd be the kind of person i'd like, i've now effectively become more obsessed with you then she is! i saw you in cambridge when you where doing the prep gig for your big gig in birmingham! it was great!! (i feel i got my £15 worth, and i bought 2 tickets for that event (one for my girlfriend) and still i feel i got my £30 worth =D) i've managed to get Loads of people into your work! you're just so likeable :). i now have your new album from the o2, some great new versions of old songs!

I promise you that you've not lived until you've performed in Dayton, Ohio.

Melbourne 3 shows, Perth 2 shows, Adelaide 3 shows, Sydney 4 shows, Hobart 1 show. Is Brisbane really on par with Tasmania? Bring on another show in BrisVegas!

I would just like to say that almost 4 weeks later, i'm still not over the fact that, due to SNOW, i missed your gig in Nottingham on the 18th of December. I spent the day stuck in Birmingham trying not to sob prefusely! Never mind the loss of £80 worth of tickets, it's the thought of what i missed out on that gets me! BAH HUMBUG.

My wife and I only first heard of you Tim two weeks ago, all I can say is we love your work and we are seriously considering flying to see you at an overseas show instead of waiting for you to come back to New Zealand.

This is the first time I have ever signed a guest book. I always thought it quite sad to sign a guest book, But xguess I have given in to human nature in the hope that my message might be seen ...... Have a good day Mr Minchin ....

TIM IS GOD!!!! I saw your show in Brighton back in December with your well deserved symphony orchestra, I've been wanting to see you live for 3 years and I only just got the money for one of the tickets... Words cannot describe how amazing you are but I will try by saying that you are the most epic legend of music to ever have touched my heart and that your comedy is so outstanding that even after watching your live shows again and again im still in fits of giggles that make my sides split. You are one of the greats (and as i have previously said GOD (if there were such a thing :L)) Lots of love from your hundreds of Brighton supporters (the ones that I know anyway) ROCK ON!!!! xXxXx
