When your comedy material started to become popular I was a totally lost young man from a hillbilly town struggling to find some sense between babysteps of my philosophical mind opening and the idiotic obsessiveness that my religiously infected world was. Your logician view of the world resonated so much in me, supporting my awakening and when my fragile sanity often lost its grip, I had yours to lend and catch my fall. In the end it made me a happy person, known to contaminate others with it. Your art is and did something extraordinary, like the book "1984", far beyond mere entertainment, and I'm relieved to live in a world where such hope exists.

Being an American and just having our elections I have rewatched your speeches at UWA and WAAPA and your recorded shows. There is so much that I feel could be learned and there are amazing things to be taken away from both of those speeches and your shows that I feel needs to be spread, and I do. I love your brand of comedy and your skill but one thing I love most is that you don’t just throw jokes at your shows. You also include things to make people think and even have conversations about. I unfortunately missed your performance on Seattle in August but hope that you will come to the US again soon so I can have the wonderful experience of seeing you live and hopefully take my teenagers with. You are one of few comedians now a days who I respect and enjoy watching for not just your craziness and talent but also because it makes me think, have conversations, and look into things I did not know or see that view. Thank you for what you do with your talent, fame, fortune, and skills. I cannot wait to be able to read your book.

dear tim, will you ever come back to america and do funny stuff again? if not, i hope i can get enough notice so i can travel elsewhere (if it were*my* choice: new zealand) with sufficient advance notice to make it workable for normal income folk. you are fantastic and i'd hate to miss you like i did in august. an admirer of your comedy and intellect, sue
