Thankyou Tim for an amazing week playing with you at the Palais! I still cant believe I got paid to see your show 3 times (from in the orchestra..) We were totally blown away by your phenomenal talent musically and comedically and you were an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank God I bought the CD as tonight would have been a complete let down if I couldn't at least listen to your songs again. Pity I don't have a smoke machine at home.. Please please come back soon!
Belinda Fabry on Monday, 28 February 2011
Hey Tim, I saw your show at The Palais in St Kilda over the weekend and honey - you are a f**king rock god - and whilst we are there just a tad on the cute side! As the good people of Melbourne lined up infront of the doors of The Palais l had an idea re distributing your merchandise. Why not employ teenagers or people of really short stature, dress them up as little versions of your with red wigs, eye make up and black attire (the girls could be dressed as Gothdoll versions of you) and they could sell the merchandise and programes prior to people going into the show. This would cut down the cues, stress and opportunities for crazy chicks in moo moos to get in! Oh, and if you and your family ever come to Maryborough (don't say why - we are in the middle of the Goldfields wine district!), there will always be room for all of you. Cheers Belindax

Hey! We got the CD before the Poms? Suck on that, UK! Payback for that whole convict transportation thingy.
Statistics geek on Sunday, 27 February 2011
Tim - We flew over from New Zealand for your show in Melbourne on Friday. It was brilliant. But I have a Masters in Statistics and while your p-value joke was funny, statisitcally it is incorrect. A larger sample size would increase the power of your test and your margin of error - not the pvalue. Just thought I'd let you know. Keep up the great work :)
Pieta on Sunday, 27 February 2011
Fuck me, that was a great show I just went to at The Palais in Melbourne this Sunday night. Genius. Genius in your thought trains and your ability to manipulate the ivories as easily as you can manipulate the emotions of your audience. I laughed, I cried (yes, your Xmas song makes me cry...shuddup) and I clapped until blood vessels burst in my hands. And I never thought, ever, that I might anywhere find someone who not only suffered the same love for cheese as I, but had the same flow of logic around the things we are expected to line tow. You inspire me to open the doors to my brain and let people tickle the invories inside my mind and see what kind of music can be made there. Only one other made me feel this way, his name was Bill Hicks. Keep taking the ride Tim, I'm eager to see where you'll go next and just how you'll take me with you once more...

What a fantastic show in Melbourne at the Palais last night! Orchestra terrific and you at your musically wonderful best! Thanks for a great night night - well done you x
Nik Bagshaw on Saturday, 26 February 2011
Tim. Thank you so much for your wonderful show tonight at the Palais, St Kilda. Great mix of old and new songs. You continue to communicate worthwhile messages with humour and talent. I really appreciate being armed with solid argument and comebacks. I spoke to the "offended" woman outside and asked her if she understood the song and she said she did. I asked her if she could see the point that the context makes all the difference and that she shouldn't really be offended when you hear the second half. She didn't want to talk any more after that. We really enjoyed ourselves tonight (my wife's birthday) and listened to the CD all the way back to the Latrobe Valley. White Wine in the Sun always moves me to tears. You are a genius! I can't wait to see you again! Nik PS When I stood up to give my standing ovation, I put my "Yamaha" poster down on the seat in front of me and someone must have thought it was spare and grabbed it. Do you know where I can get another? Cheers
naz on Saturday, 26 February 2011
Great show last night. Enjoyed it thoroughly! Can NOT wait to get my hands on the CD, realised to late it was sold at the merch stand. duh. @KB: noticed that too. the guy in front of us got all stiff and peeved, much to our delight. Can not describe how much I liked your new songs (Cont/ext!) and the new arrangements of old classics. Took it up a notch again. Don't know how you can possibly get any better. Every year, with every performance you get better. like a great wine and also...CHEESE :)
JS on Saturday, 26 February 2011
Why, when we said "We're seeing Tim Minchin at the Palais tonight" did everyone say, "But the Comedy Festival hasn't started yet???" I think maybe it just did! A perfect night. Balmy summer breeze, a drink on the St Kilda foreshore, and Tim Minchin reminding us that we Gingers rule! Thanks Tim for a fabulous night.
Brie Wilson on Saturday, 26 February 2011
Amazing show last night with the MSO encore of Not Perfect was pure bliss ! :) All time favourite song! Even have "It's not Perfect..but its mine" tattooed on my wrists ! Keep amazing people :) !

Tim + MSO in Melbourne last night FABULOUS. Have nearly recovered sense of hearing. I note you managed to spontaneously eject pair of shocked MSO season ticket holders who pointedly departed during Pope song. Poor things prob didn't realise what they were in for. Oh well. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the concert....

Tim you are the most awesome comedic song writer I have ever heard and I don't know if you will read this or if this site is even something you read but I listen to your songs ever morning while walking to college.
George Russell on Thursday, 24 February 2011
Tim, you are witty and satyrical whilst making some amazing points, but it is your beautiful work that I enjoy the most. 'Not Perfect' and 'You Grew on Me' are particularly touching. That said, 'Taboo'/'Prejudice' makes me laugh hysterically every time I hear it, due to my own Gingerness. Whilst you may argue otherwise in a satyrical way, you are a God.
Budi on Thursday, 24 February 2011
WAAAH, can't stop watching ready to this :D You are the best guy in this fucking world!

Tim, I am beyond excited to see you playing in Melbourne tomorrow! It will be a sleepless night tonight due to the excitement, but Canvas Bags is ready on the iPod to keep me company. you are the man. xxx
Helena on Thursday, 24 February 2011
Tim, I just want you to know how much you inspire me to keep at it with performance. You are so intelligent and gifted and you deserve every bit of success you get. I hope I can see you live some day but for now your youtube videos suffice and never fail to make me laugh/think/cry. In your song "Rock and Roll Nerd" you said that you had learned "Piano instead of guitar" and that in the nineties that never got you very far. I just want you to know that there is no need to regret this, as I learn guitar and I am yet to wake up with an amazing hair cut and a 'too cool to care' attitude. High School and growing up is rough, but your songs and your story will me along. If there is one thing I have learned from you is that life does not depend on who you are or what you do, but solely on where you choose to go. Thank you for using what you love to do to inspire so many others. We appreciate it so much! x Helena

I saw you on the Conan show and immediately looked you up on youtube, I sent my friends a couple of your videos. I really think you're talented, you know a lot about music AND comedy, it's brilliant the way you put them together. This is the first time I seek someone's web-page to tell them something. I really admire your work and skills, I already downloaded almost all of your dvd's and videos (sorry about that, but there aren't any on sale over here), so I just wanted to let you know that you have a fan over here in Mexico!
Kelsey Butler on Tuesday, 22 February 2011
Stumbled upon you by accident. Best accident of my life! Come to DC!!!!
Becca on Monday, 21 February 2011
Basically, you're brilliant! :) It's kind of hard to say something that you haven't heard before, so I'll just have to reinforce the compliments you've heard countless times, if that's ok. You are definitely one of the funniest comedians around and your piano skills are pretty much beyond incredible! It's getting a tad embarrassing singing along to 'If You Really Loved Me' to myself every now and then, my friends always pick me up on it. But also I love the more serious songs you've done, 'White Wine In the Sun' comes to mind, it's absolutely beautiful! Brought a tear to my eye on countless occasions. It's nice to know that though you're unbelievably funny, you also seem to be a genuinely lovely guy :) Glad you got the fame you deserved and I can't believe I haven't seen you live yet.
Alex on Monday, 21 February 2011

Hey Tim, I've only just come across your work, and I must say that I love it. I also think that you should attend the Just For Laughs comedy Fest in Montreal, Canada. If you haven't already done so, that is, but from what I've seen you haven't so I thought I'd put it out there.

I'm going to second Keith from Coleraine. I'm trying to find a gig in June/ July I can buy tickets to for my fiance's 30th birthday- he's a Northern Irish lad. It would be the awesomest kind of awesome to be able to get him a trip home to see his family (we live outside London) AS WELL as tickets to see the legend!! Go on, play Belfast, you know you want to....

Hi Tim!!! Like everyone else on this page I just want to say you are amazing and so hilarious (it would be a bit odd to go to this much effort to say otherwise) !!! I share the same views on religion too (again like most of your fans XD) and recently in my Religous studies class I keep randomly laughing when something I read reminds me of your songs... so now everyone thinks I'm an even bigger weirdo then they did before!!! (Which was tough believe me) *thumbs up* Not only are you hilarious but you can bring me to tears with some of your more serious songs! So thank you for... being you I guess 0_o P.S I've got tickets to see you in the Liverpool Echo Arena but I don't think theres a stage door (which makes it very unlikely that you'll be able to do stage door meet) so will you ever do a gig again somewhere where it is possible PLEASE XD

Hi Tim, just wanted to say that i somehow have had your songs in my head for a full month now without stop. I am from Denmark and haven't been to any of your shows and regrets that but hopes i might get an opportunity in the future. On another note, in Denmark, one of the most successful comedians has made his name by a mix of singing and stand-up, but he doesn't meassure up by a longshot to your voice and intellect. So, kudos from a middle class dane (about every dane is middle class :D)

Hi Tim, Recently discovered you on youtube. Now I am obsessed! I bought all your dvds and a new player that will play them. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico (yes we are part of the US). I know it is unlikely you will play here but it would be great!. If you do a show in the Washington DC or Baltimore area, I will be there!. I am having a Tim Minchin viewing party tonight for friends who have no idea who you are. They don't know what they are in for but I know they will really love your work. You are smokin' hot also. Please release a concert dvd of your orchestra tour, Please?

Hi, I just wanted to say that I enjoy your work so much that I decided to base half of my English A-level on a piece of your work :). I chose your piece - Storm. So thanks for writing it, as I didn't have to do my coursework on a peice of sports commentary which was undoubtedly my only other option :(. P.S I would love to see you live, so if when organising your tour dates you happen to set a date in Cardiff, Wales it would be much appreciated ;D x

Hey Tim! How would you like to do a gig for very little money, in the middle of the lake district (thats the middle of nowhere) for about 200 people? This sort of gig doesn't come around every day! It could really boost your (my) popularity, confidence levels and status! Come on.... Help the little guys out!
Katy on Thursday, 10 February 2011
Dear Mr. Minchin, Having had your songs stuck in my head for the last few months I have decided it's time I come see you perform live, in the hopes that something else will get lodged in my brain (I realise my logic here is slightly flawed, but I've learnt my brain doesn't like to do things the easy way). Good news is you're playing at the Royal Albert Hall, one of my favourite venues and in my opinion the most beautiful in London. Bad news is I am a poor student, and tickets cost £40 if I'm not bothered about actually seeing your face, which would sort of defeat the object, and £55 if I do. Please may I have some cheaper tickets or could you get less famous? Kind Regards, Katy

Greetings from Mexico! you are number one. Although a bit difficult to fully understand your lyrics (I'm Spanish-speaking ... for about 47 years) is very comforting to know that it exists (still) the intelligence in the filthy, stupid, monetized and ungrammatical world of rock and roll music. BRAVO! The Pope´s song... insuperable. You have a new fan in Mexico. Thanks to you and to YouTube as well.

I praise my frends for showing me your dvd!!!! I'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy, and especially you and Dylan Moran. I'm Finnish and not so aware of how known you are in here, but I (sadly) suggest not as known as I wished you to be. To spread the word, I showed your videos to some friends of mine, and they fell in love with you!!! One loved the fact that you can actually sing instead of just yelling. I travelled to London to see Dylan Moran, and would be more than happy to travel to see your show one day :)) sending all the love from Finland!!!!

Somehow I only discovered your stuff reasonably recently, when you were on the Wright Stuff, which I watch every day to feel in touch with the world, as I have a very young child and have lost contact with things since being on maternity from work and being too busy to follow 'issues' all the time. But I am utterly loving it. Bit jealous you are so musically talented but thank you for the laughs, I look forward to many more! xxx

Here is good luck to you all!

Hi there! I just recently came across a few of your videos on Youtube and instantly became a fan! I've been humming Not Perfect for days, can't get that and 10 Foot Cock and a Few Hundred Virgins out of my head. We would just LOVE it if you'd swing by Austin, Texas for a show. I know it's out of the way, but we have a really bitchin' music/film/everything fest every year called South By Southwest. You would be received very warmly here! Hopefully we'll be graced by your talented presence sometime! xoxo LA

Whilst googling your art, my 10 year old son, Alex, discovered his love of musical, comdeical, comedical, musical stuff.....translation..... your are now my 10 year old son's favourite source of amusement and he is not happy that he isn't invited to participate in our 10 year anniversary celebrations. Looking forward to our obstructed view seats in March! xx
