Hello Tim, Saw you on Jonathan Ross' show that recently started airing on BBCAmerica, on the 30th October. Had never seen you before, and thought you were hilarious! Loved it!! (reminded me a bit of Weird Al Yankovic) I love that your material is all cutting edge, original and so so funny!! I'm glad Ross' show is on here in the US now, unless I caught you on comedy central, I wouldn't know you were out there! I'm going to order some of your dvds, thank God I bought an all-region/pal player! Hope your dvds come out in NTSC form, and you get to play the US! Best wishes,

Hey Tim. My wife and I have four boys (8, 6, 4 and 2). Their favourite song by far is 'Dark Side', which they call 'Daddy Never Came to My Ball Game' and regularly ask to watch on YouTube. Our favourite is one you did on ABC with Paul McDermott - 'Not Perfect'. My wife and our 4 year old have been making some new lyrics - 'this is my car and I drive in it it's filled with boys and all their toys ...' We love your stuff. Wal

We saw you in Nottingham last night it was fantastic. We've seen every show since your Edinburgh debut in 05 and you get better every time. I thought the crowd were great last night my wife and I went with her parents and they absolutely loved it - my mother-in-law was screaming with laughter at the IVF and Midget jokes. she is over 60 and thinks you are hilarious.

Ann on Thursday, 29 October 2009
I was at the concert in Nottingham last night and yes Brian, strange crowd, pretty subdued in the presence of genius I thought!! Mind you he got them in the end x Darkside was amazing ( the 60 plus couple surely impressed with that piece of piano playing!!)and White Wine in the Sun had me and a few others around me in floods of tears! Bravo Tim! wish I was experiencing it all again tonight, my DVD's and youtube will just have to sustain me till next time.....
Brian on Thursday, 29 October 2009
Great show last night in Nottingham, although I had to go on my own as no takers for my spare ticket!!.Strange crowd, I saw a family who had brought their 12/14 year old daughter (very liberal) Plus a couple who must have been 60+ and didn`t look impressed, I think they`d heard about piano playing rather than his comedy.
Mike on Wednesday, 28 October 2009

Hi Tim, saw you in coventry/warwick/whatever about a month ago, met you and mentioned philosophy - but you wont remember this :) I'm dressing as you to a couple halloween parties, which consisted of me going to charity shops, looking for out-of-fashion/uber-fashionable frilly shirts, tight trousers and a nice ginger wig that I shall backcomb, straighten, etc. You are my HERO and you were awesome on Jonathan Woss t'other night, I already know five poofs and two pianos off by heart! anyway, its 2am here and just finished watching hannibal, so once again, thankyou for being awesome, and also for shaping my whole philosophical outlook on the world, making me realise how spirituality is meaningless and depriving me of my hope for an afterlife and karma :) MUCH LOVE x
Emma on Wednesday, 28 October 2009
Hey Tim, Just arrived home after watching you at The Derngate, Northampton tonight. I have to say I officially love you!!! Your wife is a VERY lucky lady!! Hi Tim, just got home from your gig tonight in Northampton and you absolutely blew me away! I cannot agree enough with all of the comments encouraging you to release White Wine In The Sun as a Christmas single - it brought a tear to my eye and was an inspired way to finish an incredible show. Please come back again soon and can you include Inflatable You in the next tour? It's my husband's favourite!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease tour again next year, and come to Hereford. When is the DVD going to be released in the UK and are you going to do any signings? We will be there if you do. Never stop Tim. XX
Ross Hawes on Tuesday, 27 October 2009
Hi Tim, just watched the "Ready for this ? " DVD and want to know if "white wine in the sun" will be released as a single? Great song and would do well as a Christmas release. Have had more than a few white wines over the years at christmas in Perth with family so can understand the sentiment. Even more so for the ones that I was away from home due to where the Army said I should be. I'd buy it and I believe that it would be a hit with all displaced sandgropers and maybe even those from other states would appreciate the idea of keeping a palce ready for those who can't be home.
Bethan Rainforth on Monday, 26 October 2009
hii Tim I understand if u are reading this, it will be in an austrailian accent, so i am gonna write it using and austrailian accent as i go along (talkin pretty slowly in my head), i first saw u on never mind the cocks, was funny as, i was gonna look u up on google, but forgot your name the next day. haha funny. Then u was on tv again, just there u was makin me laugh, once again with ur crazy songs. then i forgot to look u up yanno, then my friend said to my other friend wow u look like that guy, who plays those funny songs on piano then i membered wooah you do, you do look like Tim Minchint..but then i was corrected to Minchin, how kwl is ur name? Very. Then i thought yanno imma add you on twitter and i did, tells u summin was a good thing coz then i found ur site, i aint a stalker honest. i think iv lost the austrailian accent as i went along, im now speaking geordie:S (do u know what that is, if not, it is people from newcastle) anyways just wanted to say g'day mate thats it really, ohh and ur awesome, did i say that already?
Aimee on Monday, 26 October 2009
You kick arse Tim - your appearance on Wossy has rekindled my love for you. I'm in the process of downloading your songs and videos to help me through the wonderful 2 1/2 hour train journey from Brumland to Cambridge...land I am going to have to endure. Basically, just wanted to say that if I fail my degree because I'm watching bootlegged youtube clips of your gigs...well, I'm blaming you. Aimee, a layabout (student)

Ironically, my husband and I went to your show last night, 25 October for a good ol' laugh and to get away from the thoughts of the IVF we are currently undergoing ... and then you referred to it in one of your gags ... what can you do but laugh out very loud?? If this is a successful attempt we may have to name our two littlies Tim and Sarah??!! Really enjoyed your show, and your final song pulled on the heart strings as we are from the southern hempisphere too. Think that you are super smart and a very talented performer, keep up the great work!!

Ryan (UK) on Saturday, 24 October 2009
Are you, ready for this?? .... I just have to say, i think your dream of moving to London to become famous will have paid off by the end of this tour.... I think everyone who is a fan of all that is Minchin will agree! You are the most diversely talented and exceptional barefooted individual of our comedic time so far in my opinion.. You pale everyone in comparison. I have enjoyed every single performance of you that i have ever seen, i have actually been to see you twice on this tour... Two gigs in a fortnight, and travelled quite a way to see you for the second, i'm simply addicted... I wanted tickets for a 3rd but it was sold out sadly.. Cant wait for the next DVD, CD and tour, whenever that may be.. Keep up the awesome work and have a well deserved rest soon.. I hope this is the start of a Tim explosion and that 2010 will find you, Sarah, Violet and Caspar well! Thank you for being, well, you, keep it up and lets say to the world, Are you, ready for this??!!

Was at your Hammersmith Apollo gig last night, what an astounding show! I apologise on behalf of us Brits for the drunken twat that kept heckling you, I hope you don't judge us all on this poor example of a human. <3 at you on Jonathon Ross.. especially the ending with Jamie Cullum aussi!! Amazinggg :) but :O at the fact i just saw this on your twitter!! "Many of you will remember my friend Simon Singh being sued for saying some Chiropractic was bogus. Good news!: http://bit.ly/HSK8N" i just read the article in which he said it was bogus.. and well basically now I'm re-thinking my whole future!! hahaa I was hoping to do a masters in it if I don't horrifically fail my exams :) so yes, i know you'll probably be unable to reply to this/not give a shit, but what are TIM'S views on chiropractic? ^-^ P.S: you better come back to bournemouth again!!!!! BEST. NIGHT. EVER. even if we did have to just out on a roundabout and sprint to the Pavilion to get there on time :D xxxx... sorry for such a long commenty thing :B

Hey Tim I've never been that into comedy. The stuff my dad would put on at 11 on a friday night and cry with laughter, just not funny for me. Just cringy and annoying. Really put me off the idea of comedy. However walked in last night and my parents were watching Jonathan Ross. I was caught by your 'Five Puffs and Two Pianos' It was brilliant, I was grinning all the way through. The rest of the bit with u and Wossy was hilarious, I loved it! Nice to see him taken out of his comfort zone :D The interview made me really intrested in Comedy again, so thanks for the huge eye-opener!!! The thing with you and Cullem at the end was amazing also! Brilliant musical talent!!! I guess theres not much chance of you ever reading this, but I wanted to show my appreciation!!! Keep up the good work! -and Thanks again!!!

I love your music and humour but Re canvas bags song Can u include paper bags with plasitc as they are just as bad..we (an env.org. in Ireland ) are receiving horrid emails becoz we said if plastic bags are taxed paper ones should be as well...or maybe it would mess up lyrics, praps a new song??? Comment received on our website: What about a tax on toilet paper or do you people ever need to pass excrement through the correct outlet. You are talking through your arses. Reply: Dear Joe, Hate to tell you this but toilet paper is already taxed at 21.5% VAT. Hope this doesn't give you constipation! PS Fern & Emma are in front row on Sunday so f***ing rock... Wish I was there...

Reply to twitter: I would suggest saving the polyester leggings for the dvd recording, tonight is sold out so i don't think the fans care what you are wearing as long as its not too diff from the norm. Keep doing what your doing and the fans will love you in skinny's or leggings :) x x

I saw you on your first night of your UK tour a few weeks ago. truly awsome! It turns out Bears really dont dig on dancin. i do however fear that i may have a slight obsesion with your work... seen the show live, you tubed you, recorded digital BBC Radio 1 all morning just to hear your bit and Johnathan Ross is set to record on Sunday as your making an appearance... i dont think its a problem but some may dissagree. You are so rock! you are so GOD DAMN ROCK! hell yea. May know the words but the actions are still beyond my capabilities. :)

Didnt know where else I should post this, but I’m doing an A level art project about wonderful people and you just happen to be in it. Took me 7 hours to draw it completely, I’d love it if you could take a look at it on my art site, here’s the link –-> http://frankiestrange.deviantart.com/art/Tim-Minchin-139713295\ Thank you (: x

Great work! I can only hope you plan to do a tour stint in Canada (preferably Alberta, if you can swing it... Preferably not Calgary if you can swing it) in the near future. Either way, keep it up and thank you!
Kristan on Thursday, 22 October 2009
I listen to your music constantly. I love it for the many levels that it has. Its to bad you never play in Canada, especially in BC, manly the Vancouver area.. It would sure be nice. I just noticed another person post from Vancouver, its a sign :D Well till then Ill still listen to your music and watch your shows on any media I can get a hold of.

Hey, just wanted to say you were absolutly amazing saturday night (17th october, sheffield) its the first time i've ever seen anyone live and i dont think anything is ever going to come close to that experience! i've been having a real tough time recently and seeing you live has put the biggest smile on my face so thank you and thanks for signing my bag and taking a picture with me YOU ROCK!
Chris Wilson on Wednesday, 21 October 2009
Timmeh!!!! Saw you at Sheffield City Hall on Sat 17th. Was it really the biggest gig you've ever played?? If so, I'm very pleased to have been a part of it. My fiancee and I had high hopes coming into the show and we weren't, in the slightest, disappointed. Amazing work on the piano as ever, despite you assertion halfway through one of the songs ("jeez, I cant play the f**king piano tonight), which got a MAS from me. Nice to see that, despite your meteoric rise to superstardom (are you that famous yet?? You know what I mean) you're still humble enough to be self critical. Even though my favourite song (You Grew On Me) wasnt in this show, we had a blast. Wishing you every future success. Chris & Catherine p.s. The only downside was that the lovely ladies who were selling your merchandise forgot to put the tour poster in our canvas bag. You couldnt hit us up could you? ;)
Jacques on Wednesday, 21 October 2009
Hi there. Found your videos on youtube. They really stick in one's head. The problem is I find myself singing it in the strangest places. Please consider the South African audiences. We're just around the corner.

Hi, I saw you at Oxford on Sunday... AWESOME! I was waiting after the show but my mate weronika was cold, so we left. The girl who you said had told you that 'If I didn't have you' was sexist obviously didn't listen to 'connfessions' xxx

Just like to say your Oxford show was better then watching a fat person get out of a deck chair!! You've managed to make being articulate and grammatically correct a good thing. Any one that can make my boyfriend use the word quaffed in a conversation deserves another award. Keep up the good work and come back soon. Oh, and im pretty sure I saw you in the Four Candles before the show. Love the parker..
SCOTT THE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER on Tuesday, 20 October 2009
Hi there Tim, Just thought I'd post a quick thanks for your excellent show at Sheffield on Saturday night. I laughed so much it really hurt. It must be a whole heap of fun playing to such a responsive audience... the City Hall looked massive from on the stage, even through the eyes of the bear-suit! I must admit, I wasn't expecting to be dancing like a loon in front of so many people (especially without a drink!) but great fun nonetheless. Your songs are an inspiration... as a fellow comic-musician (www.myspace.com/thescottfatherpart2)it's always good to learn a trick or ten from a master at work. On a more serious note White Wine In The Sun was truly amazing. Make sure you come back to Sheffield soon as you rocked our freakin' world. All the best Scott (the Primary School Teacher) P.S. If anyone reading this caught Bears Don't Dig On Dancing on their mobile phone, could you post it up on You Tube as a few friends of mine don't believe it happened!
Sarah (White Wine fan) on Tuesday, 20 October 2009
Oxford was awesome. You were ok! No, I meant your show in Oxford was awesome, even taking into consideration the belligerent bear(review posted on angry feet) Can't wait till Halloween to view you through a telescope at symphony hall. Ever-hopeful of hearing 'drowned' or 'not perfect' live. xx
Olivia. on Tuesday, 20 October 2009

Thanks for the whole evening, including staying back afterwards to meet us lovely fans :) Please come back soon! Best wishes, Meg x

Please,PLEASE come to Estonia...It would be like a dream come true.Im 14 and I love your work,I mean I freaking listen to your songs everyday.Though I'm not sure how many people will come since not many people even know you here and with our small population of 1.something million people about 40% dont even speak English and 30% dont speak it well enough to understand your brilliance. You dont have to come, since it wouldnt be any good because we have less people in our whole nation then in a lot of the citys in the U.S. . If by some miracle or should I say chance that you actually come here, I would get all my friends together (Those who even understand what you're saying). It's a small chance and I wont get my hopes up , but if ya dont ask then how can you know you cant get it or something like that :P Your fan Joosep

Hellu. I'm hoping you're not being a slackass, and that you read this comment! I've seen through your tour dates and places, but I couldnt find anything in Scandinavia. Which sucks. I was wondering if you would consider having a gig/show in Norway/Sweden/Denmark, preferrably in Norway. It'd be lovely to see you live, instead of these bad-quality youtube clips. I'll be waiting for an answer. Thanks. :] Hans Kåre.

Just a random thought - I was trying to think of a creative way to put your face on an item of clothing (t-shirts are so passe) and I thought maybe I could sew a printed patch on the back of my jeans... but then I realised that every time I sat down I would be sitting on your face! I doubt either of our spouses would approve - oh well back to the drawing board!
Judith on Tuesday, 13 October 2009
Well hello there, I absolutely loved your show in Aberdeen last night - please come back soon! I just thought I should tell you that during your show I realised that there are no really good comediennes and that is rather depressing. I feel that I should fill this void with some musical comedy; first I need to learn to play the piano (want to teach me?) or advance some other instrumental skill... and learn to sing. Oh, and find something funny to write about. Oh my, I have so much to do... If you do decide to come and teach me piano, I will not only bake you cookies but cakes and other lovely tasty things! I hope the rest of the tour goes well for you!
Lucy on Tuesday, 13 October 2009

Hello Mr Minchin, I just wanted to say that I have really enjoyed discovering your existence through a friend. This friend said there was this funny bloke on youtube who was a bit like Bill Bailey and waffled some stuff about pissing in hippos. Anyway, after a couple of rounds of boob tennis, a bit of not eating pigs and some people who have it worse than me I decided you are rather awesome so I'm coming to one of your tour dates with a whole bunch of people who also saw you on youtube. Thought it would be a good idea to say keep up the good work and don't ever take the videos down as they are such a good advert for you! Take care! Julia

Hi Tim! Thanks for an absolutely AMAZING gig last night in Aberdeen. I don't think I've laughed so much out loud in a long time. I'm a relative Tim 'virgin' and loved every bit of 'loosing it'! Loved 'White Wine in the Sun' and reckon you should release it as a Xmas song... You somehow managed to make me go from falling off my seat with laughter to moping up the tears. Good luck in the USA and I hope you get to have a fab time at home this Christmas with your wife, kids, Mum, Dad, Brother, Sisters and Gran - you sound like you have a fab family and I totally love that, family are well important! Love, Emily x

You are a comedy genius who amazes me everytime with the intelligent topics you cover. Good luck for the rest of the tour XXXXXXX

Hiya Tim, thanks for your show at Aberdeen Music Hall last night, it was bloody brilliant! I noticed that the people sitting next to us didn't come back after the interval as we had our suspicions that the girl in the couple was a christian. Would you believe it, she had a saucy red dress on as well. Shows you just can't tell. And I'm bloody glad I didn't bring my friend Loo along as she sounds alot like Storm. I have learnt to hold my tongue on a regular basis about the crap she believes in so it was nice to hear such a rant on the subject. Loved the poem and songs aside easily my favourite bit. Cheers bro and have a great xmas with the family. x
Selina on Tuesday, 13 October 2009
Hi Mr. Minchin, I had the weirdest dream about you the other night - have no idea why as I hadn't seen you on the tube, or spoken about you recently. Anyway first you asked me to bake a burthday cake for a friend - this is strange as I need a navman to find my way around a kitchen - but cake turned out well. then you returned (you lived in my neighbourhood) and asked to use my bath (along with your wife and a strange, silent, dark-haired woman), I allowed use of tub, might add that you all bathed in your swimmers. Then you asked me to squeeze a boil on your leg (nowhere intimate), as I have had practise with tropical ulcers I agreed. Birthday cake, baths and squirting puss all make for an interesting dream. But then you kept accusing/teasing me of having a crush on you because I'd squeezed your boil - and wouldn't accept my denials. I love your work but that's about it. Woke up and had a hard time getting back to sleep. That's all I wanted to write.

Hi Tim, you were in scintillating form at The Pavilion in Glasgow this evening. I would also like to let you know that, due to your recently established laws and guidelines, I am fully qualified to call you ginger. I sat listening to your opening song tonight beaming with pride after years and years of oppression. You are welcome back here anytime. Particularly if it is going to be sooner rather than later. "Go on yourself..." Martin

Tim, I saw you on "Just for Laughs" on a Canadian comedy tv station last night... it was the bit of your song "Infatable You"... and didn't know that it had been censored! I watch the uncensored version on "Youtube" and I spit sprayed out my drink on the line "...you've all the holes real girls have got, plus one for air". Loved it. Canucks love "dirty" comedy... our minds are hard-wired that way.

Love the extra dvd too, except sing-a-long canvas bags is out of sync :( Look forward to Oxford where you can't be out of sync cos it's live - unless you're like Mariah! xx

your cambridge show on wednesday was fantastic, haven't laughed so much in ages. not sure if he was the sound or lighting (or both) man, but had to run off to catch the bus home so asked hin to pass on 2 questions & a comment. he said to check your websites, but i thought i'd ask again in case he'd forgotten: 1. are you a vampire? 2. according to the words phil is not useful enough to be a c#nt 3. is ginga acceptable? keep up the tune writing (your blinking amazing at it), dave & roxy xxx

Hi Tim, Brilliant show in Cambridge on Wednesday. It really cheered me up. Your Ginger song reminded me of the radio 4 comedy "Old Harry's Game". According to series 6 red heads are descended from Angels. Helen

Hey Tim / Linzy This is a long shot, however a very dedicated fan and friend of mine will be celebrating her 33rd birthday tomorrow and has insisted that her birthday treat must be to attend your show in Colston Hall tomorrow evening. I and 6 others will be introduced to your musical comedy genus tomorrow evening at the behest of Isa (Princess Isabelle) our crazy Swiss friend. I know it would really make her night if in some way you could mention her, no matter how tenuously, during your routine. We are all now very excited and looking forward to your performance. Many thanks.

hi tim. Cambridge may perhaps have gone more smoothly than birmingham, but were they treated to a tattooed bear who did, quite obviously, dig on dancing, or witness your spontaneous wit in the face of the staging blips that popped up to try you in our flash town hall? 'twould seem not. Thanks for a great night. Am so pleased that the dilligence of our fire brigade enabled me to ascertain, at last, that you had received my lengthy,if somewhat odd, epistle last year. Enjoy the rest of your packed uk tour. Birmingham cant wait to welcome you again.

Hey Tim! Saw you live for the first time last night in Cambridge and you were totally worth the wait! Been singing your songs all day - which is quite ironic, as I teach music/singing in a CofE Secondary School!! lol :) Not sure the rest of the teachers would appreciate the humour, but I love it! All the songs/beat poems you did last night were fantastic. 'Only a Ginger' is hilarious (I have a ginger tint - does that count? lol). 'Storm' was also really funny - I could actually see you at the dinner table trying your best not to rant. I just love the way you fit the lyrics to the music - very Sondheim-esque - and the way your piano solos are so random, and yet work perfectly with the music. I get shivers down my spine at some of your solos, and that doesn't happen very often. I love 'Dark Side' and 'Canvas Bags' (I was one of the sad people waving your canvas bag in the air during the song lol), and I'm really pleased you did 'Not Perfect' as it's possibly my favourite songs of yours. I was singing along with you all the way through these songs - bad habit of mine - so if I put you off, I apologise. Bringing my sister with me next time I see you - Apollo on the 25th! See you then! :) Lyndsey x PS. I was the quiet, shy person whose programme you signed just before 'Crazy Louise' (methinks I was a bit star-struck lol)

I saw you last night in Cambridge and I have been singing your songs all day! I really should be doing school work but I'm having too much fun watching videos on YouTube. You are awesome last night. I love how you are so enthusiastic about everything and you always make the audience laugh. I will be coming to see you again soon! x x x

Hey Tim, It's 'Crazy Louise' thought I'd drop by and say what a brilliant show last night was at Cambridge, went a lot smoother than the Birmingham one :P Thank you for always being lovely after your shows, I can't wait to meet you again :) I hope you like your birthday card..you're not allowed to open it untill next wednesday :] Lots of love Louise x x
Vicky Moontree on Thursday, 1 October 2009
My son and I came to see you in Cambridge last night, and we had a great time! When they handed out talent you must have queued more than twice! If you ever find yourself short of cookies;give me a yell! Beware though, I notice in todays news, too much sugar as a child makes you violent - Post hoc ergo propter hoc! Ha ha ha! Thank you for being you! x
Chris on Thursday, 1 October 2009
Hey Tim, saw you last night at cambridge, you were a-ma-zin!! Noticed aswell from watching you on DVD that you play your songs differently in each show. A bit of improv maybe? Either way you are truly virtuosic and i can only dream of being as accomplished as your good self. Keep on rocking! p.s. i also love boobs (who doesn't)
Tash on Thursday, 1 October 2009

Hi Tim, My son Blake (18) has had a very difficult year with one of the highlights being going to see you at State theatre in Sydney this December. Blake hasn't smiled much this year but I always see a smile on his face when he is spending time with you on his laptop. Thank-you! Blake's Mum
