Have been wanting to e-mail you for a while and now, aided by wine, I shall. Last year my best friend and I went to see you at the SECC in Glasgow. The concert was wonderful and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Roughly two months later my friend was killed in a motorbike accident. My last memory of him was us attending your concert together and I suppose I just want you to know that you helped to make that last memory of him one filled with laughter and music. Strangely that idea has helped me through what has been a very hard time in my life. So, thank you. A

When I first saw you, i was googling 'Scary people'. And for quite sometime it was just random picture for my assessment for high school. Then a friend told me about this comedian and he showed me a youtube video of him, I instantly said 'Oh MY GOD! Its the scary guy from my assessment!' So sorry Tim, I love your musical genius, but unfortunately you will always be remembered as... The scary guy picture.

Hi Tim, I've been a fan of yours for quite some time now, and i just recently heard you sing Hallelujah on youtube. It was absolutely amazing! You should record it so us Minchin fans can listen to it anywhere we go. That'd be wonderful. I wasn't able to make it to a show with your USA Tour :'( Please come back sometime! Thanks :-)
Stefan on Saturday, 14 July 2012
Love you! Please come to Norway =)

I saw you at the Larmer Tree Festival last night I thought I would just say you were amazing! The weather was pants but that didn't matter in the slightest. Your lyrics are genius.. thanks again for a fabulous show.

I discovered you at the reason rally in DC, late to the game i know but I thought you were brilliant. Fairly angry that I bought a DVD of the Rally, advertised as the entire rally, but none of the paid performers were on it, they were all cut out including your set. no deal could be worked out to have you on the DVD? It was a historic moment I was proud to be at that I no longer have a complete record of, such a shame. Money wins I guess.

Hi Tim, Saw you at Larmer Tree Festival tonight and may I say, on behalf of the rest of the disenfranchised mass, you rocked our asses :) thank you for making the sun shine- the metaphorical sun, of course, as it was raining buckets! Cheers x

We loved your short show at the Henley Festival last week. It's the sixth time we've seen you. But why were you second fiddle to Alfie Boe. You were miles better and got a better audience reaction. Having said that, if you believe what some people wrote to the local paper, you were crude, disgusting and blasphemous. Is that why we enjoy your songs so much!

I've discovered recently Tim through ATEA's page on Facebook. It's a shame that I couldn't find any of Tim's material in Brazil.

So, what would be lovely is if you came to TexasWAITdon'tstopreading! You haven't heard everything yet. Let me begin again. Please consider coming to Austin; Austin is in Texas, it's true (nothing to be done about that), but it's not *of* Texas. It is a good place with thinking, rational people who appreciate intelligent humor. At least consider thinking about it. Please. Thank you.
Évelyn on Monday, 9 July 2012
Will have to go on google translator to understand the message! lol Simplesmente fantástico *-* Uma pena estar tão longe e não poder ver seu show ao vivo! Mas daqui do Brasil acompanho seus videos e divido com vários amigos... Parabéns... Você é esplendido!

Tim, you were AMAZING last night at Somerset House! I was so happy to be there and loved every moment. I've been to a couple of your concerts before, and my parents, who were with me last night, have been fans for years (they were the ones who introduced me to your music, so I'm eternally grateful to them), and that one was truly amazing. I was especially happy when you responded to me (you made a joke about controlling the rain and I yelled "hallelujah!"). It was also the first time I'd heard a couple songs including the Pope Song and If You Really Loved Me live, which was awesome. Your 2 encore songs were also both amazing. I loved hearing your version of "When I Grow Up", and the song you wrote for Sarah (I think it was called What's Going On?) was really great as well. So yeah, I'd go through each song and say all the things I loved, but we'd be here til next week. But it was a truly fantastic concert, and I'm so happy to have been there and been a part of it. Love you Tim! You make me and all my family proud to be Crouch End folk!

I first noticed you on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and decided to learn more. Glad I did. I'm interested to hear of your upcoming work on Jesus Christ Superstar. The first time I saw Jesus Christ Superstar was in the early 70's (yes, before you were born) in an arena that is usually used for cow judging. Even with the faint bovine aroma in the air I knew I was seeing something special. I know your voice will fit very well in the role of Judas and will make it something special for someone that has never seen the play before. I look forward to more of your work being available on iTunes. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Dear Tim, I only heard about you recently, but have spent the last few weeks watching everything I could find from you. I hope you accept this as a complement (as I intend it): I felt a huge emptiness when Bill Hicks died. I thought he was great and I missed him. But now that I've heard your stuff, I am happy to see that lucid, rational, honest, clear-sighted, intelligent humour is not dead. May you live forever! Preach on friend, we're listening.

Hi Tim, Thanks for yesterday at Yong Chamber, the bass player in the young band I teach and produce and brought along I didn't realise was a massive fan of your work and I think the Santa Claus gag on his top made his day! Personally I was with you on the you obviously didn't grow up in the 80s slant on it! :) I'll be working on elves for him this week. Hope you enjoy my albums I gave you, fusions from my times in Ethiopia and Mali mixed with being back in the UK with my Malian family now. Like you I just kept at my self taught dream and did it all myself and finally got international recognition with those 2 Invisible Systems albums and EP, the new one out on Monday is released by Rough Guide / World Music Network and you have a hand burned pre-copy:) Big up to you. Dan

My friend just showed me some *cough twenty cough* of your vids and (because I'm a bit fanatical at times and it doesn't really matter whether or not you actually read this because my expression of appreciation is really just a means of some strange self gratification that afflicts the majority of the population as they attempt to convince themselves that they are noteworthy in the eyes of their objectified heroes regardless of the fact that those eyes have probably never actually seen them unless they passed by in a grocery store which isn't likely, but of course none of that applies to me because I'm supposed to be unique and crap and how else would I invest meaning in life if I didn't resist the crowd because HA! giving into the natural tendencies and desires of one's own subconcious (which we really have to question is even totally ours to being with... probably isn't... damn you society corrupting out thought processes like everything else we come into contact with but never blame) wouldn't be worth our time enough in the first place)... shit... I forgot where I was going with all that... Anyway, you're awesome man! Kudos (or whatever candy you like metaphorically speaking) from the USA! (Yes I'm aware that the majority of this comment is within the confines of parenthesis so if I was whispering in your ear you'd probably get an uncomfortable tingly sensation and not focus on what I was saying because whispering to people in their ears is never comfortable for the person expected to listen).

Tim, I saw an advert about 20 mins ago which told me the bbc proms were returning. I spent 5 mins scanning their website for the comedy prom to no avail. Contrary to your song it was decided that the comedy prom is not to be a yearly event. I spent 15 mins on your website attempting to make myself happy again. Thankyou for not giving up on becoming a musician. Perhaps I will meet you one day on the infinate monkey cage... or comedy panel show... (unfortunately I has no money and while I would love to be a comedian I can only afford a proper job. I was thinking cosmologist, what do you think?)
