Hey Tim, Just wanted to say that i am in complete awe of you. Seriously, I think some of your ideologies are just so amazing, and make such sense, and thats just a plus to your mad skills on a piano, and the fucking awesome lyrics you come up with :) Hopefully coming to your gig in London soon, really really looking forward to it man. Although I try not to swear usually, I think that your rationalising of you swearing is brilliant. good on you man :) I think you're such a cool dude Peace
Xueh on Monday, 31 May 2010
Tiiiim!!!! oh my gooood!!! i just "discovered" you like a week ago, and i cant stop searching for your videos ...im hooked!!! Are you planning maybe in a not so distant future to come to Berlin??? that would be totally awsome :D and i would be sooo happy!! Well, thats it, you are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Julianna Romanyk of Toronto on Sunday, 30 May 2010
Oh Tim, still a dedicated fan, but absolutely miserable that your Toronto gig takes place while I'm away. :( Seriously, I'm sadder now than when my cat died. On the up side, Mum says she may drive me to Montreal because I think so highly of you. Still perfecting "Peace Anthem for Palestine" on my little keyboard, and angry-feeting like never before. Love ya in a hopefully not-too-stalkerish way, Julianna, age 13
Elaine Boisclair on Sunday, 30 May 2010
Belated, but only just discovered you and your brilliant self, courtesy of my son, Matt. Rog and I LOVED the DVD he loaned to us and have ordered your next offering. Also hope to come see you live when you are next doing a solo show in London. Thanks for the entertainnment xx
Joanne Hewer on Sunday, 30 May 2010
Dear Tim :) You sir, are amazing. I do hope I can see you on the next UK tour. I have pre-ordered your DVD. :D x
Rhiannon Jones on Saturday, 29 May 2010
Tim, Dearest, please make sure that you're Hay on Wye gig is better advertized next time. I am weeping at the fact that I have just found out about it and the tickets aren't available :( Or perhaps we could compromise and you come to Cardiff. Please? We're better now - We have hot running water and electricity now.
Erin on Saturday, 29 May 2010
Please come to the U.S! We would love to have you do some gigs here.I assure you there are people here who share your sense of humor and aren't the anachronistic, puritanical and close minded people we are often potrayed as in the media. Thanks.:D
Dan on Saturday, 29 May 2010
Tim! play a Glasgow show on your tour, would you? If you don't I'll cry. You don't want to make me cry, do you?

Nancy on Friday, 28 May 2010
So who's up for starting a campaign to get Tim to tour the US? Of course you'd have to start in Seattle!
Katie on Wednesday, 26 May 2010
Hullo :) please come to melbourne again soon, my sister has been playing your dvd non stop, i'm guessing to try to invoke the real you, and using up all our internet downloads to play youtube vids of you... and it's so distracting trying to watch the telly and cook her meals at the same time that i cut my hand with a saucepan the other day. seriously. at the very least can i mail her to you? she's very pretty but also rather batty, and at worst i think she'd make a good pet. please help - without rapid intervention i fear i'll be impaled by a rubber spatula or receive some other embarrassingly silly injury.
Jodie on Tuesday, 25 May 2010
Hey there Tim, just so you know, myself and Catherine have decided to bribe you for a Dunfermline date for your tour. We will have Percy Pigs and Haribo sweeties for you, and if that doesn't keep the bouyancy in your flotation device, any other type of sweet sold in the UK :D So, you up for it? Pleeeease? Xx
Catherine on Tuesday, 25 May 2010
Tim!Please could you play Dunfermline on your tour? Me and Jodie shall bring you Percy Pigs and Haribo if you do :) (if you dont like those sweets, tell us and we shall get you what you want) X

Timothy on Monday, 24 May 2010
Hey Tim. A fan from the USA here. Do you ever plan on bringing your barefooted, messy haired self over to the states anytime soon? I live in Ohio and the biggest thing we have is... Corn. And that's it. Honestly, I think the reception would be wonderful if you did a tour of the states. I know at least I'd show up. And...Well...If no one else did I'd...Buy you dinner or somesuch to make up for the wasted time.
edward benn on Monday, 24 May 2010
Your songs are very funny cant get them out of me head. You the Concords and setbelts. All the noise. Please advise.
Paul J on Sunday, 23 May 2010
Dear Mr Minchin I am a big fan of yours and wish to extend my disappointment that so far you are not to be appearing at Download Festival this year. I believe this to be your niche crowd and would love to see you once again this year (even if I was to miss ACDC) yes Mr Minchin....I like your music That much. Yours faithfully Mr Paul J
Alex on Sunday, 23 May 2010
Hi Tim. I know you appreciate grammatical errors, and I would like to inform you of one in your songs. In the song 'If You Really Loved Me', you say "dot the I in I love you", you are incorrect if writing correctly, as you can see from the quote. My girlfriend spotted it (I wont take the credit lol), and I thought you might like to know that we listen carefully to your brilliant lyrics!! We love you by the way!!
Ryan on Sunday, 23 May 2010

Kathryn on Friday, 21 May 2010
Tim, please come to the US sometime...Colorado preferably. If you don't, I may have to book a flight overseas to see you...and that could get a little over my budget seeing as I'm still in college.
Mia on Thursday, 20 May 2010
Dearest Mr Tim, I just thought that you may like to know that myself and my wonderful fiance finally got hitched last weekend, and our first dance was "You Grew On Me" by your good self. Went down pretty well I think amongst like-minded friends (and most of the more straight-laced guests were old and quite deaf and therefore simply enjoyed the lovely melody...)and now the song will have even more meaning for us and a cosy fuzzy little place in our slightly twisted hearts! PS: we do actually drive a Mitsubishi Colt!

Hey Tim. I think you're an amazing musician and entertainer, I recently showed my family your stuff (even my 80year old nan) and they love you too. I've been a fan for a long while now, I love your sense of irony in your I love Jesus song. My favourite song has to be Darkside and Some People Have it Worse than I. Just fantastic! Well Done!!! x

You should really consider doing a show in the US. More specifically, in Kalamazoo, MI?... I swear, not all Americans are god-fearing evolution-slamming redneck hillbilly Fox News-watching gun-slinging ignorant assholes. Just most of us. So give us a chance. You rock, Tim. Keep up the good work.
Noelle Ryan on Friday, 14 May 2010

So I kind of just tripped across the pope video, then started watching some of Tim's other videos and I'm kind of wondering what rock I have been living under. Tim you have to be one of the most talented people I have ever seen, and I have seen Madonna... (that was a joke, the Madonna being talented part). Every video I watch the more amazed I am, I forgot there are smart witty entertainers in the world. Thanks for making my day a little less shity... I can't wait to see you live.

Dear Tim, Several months ago I was going through a difficult time in my life emotionally, I lacked any inspiration to do anything, which was even worse since at that time I was completing my university applications and writing personal statements. On one of the nights that I spent awake trying to write I discovered your songs. Needless to say they made my day and have been making almost every day since then, but the thing that I wanted to tell you is that seeing somebody doing something so amazing helped me to see the best in myself and find the motivation that I needed to write. Today I found out that not only has my priority school accepted my application but that they are also giving me the scholarship that I needed on order to have the opportunity to study at all. Thank you for the things you do!
Mike of Melbourne on Monday, 10 May 2010
Dear Tim. I MUST insist you get your arse back here to Australia - NOW. We need you ,more than the Poms do. Don't make me come over there to drag you back...

Jordan on Sunday, 9 May 2010
Mr. Minchin, Don't ever come to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The people here are God fearing Americans(North) and they don't need riff-raff like you bringing your overseas heathenism down on them like a terribly long and wordy diatribe of a run on sentence that will suffocate you with every lacking pause of puncuation.
Emma West on Sunday, 9 May 2010
Recently at musical rehearsals ive been borrowing some of the seniors ipods and listen to your music. I blame Mrs Potts and cogsworth! he has now got me addicted and i can't stop! =D at least its amazing!!!
J on Saturday, 8 May 2010
Tim, I have to say that I think you are fucking brilliant! and I am attempting to aid you in your quest for stardom in the US. A few friends of mine from the UK introduced me to you a few weeks ago and since then, I've spent a lot of my free time on YouTube listening to everything you have, and then posting my favorite videos to my Facebook... Everything you say about the US is true and if my fellow Americans don't like it, they can go fuck themselves! Any chance you'll be coming to the great state of Indiana? We have stuff like... corn and... well, that's pretty much it. But if you like corn, we're the place to go!
Anna on Saturday, 8 May 2010
Hi Tim,I've only found out about your songs a few weeks ago, and I have to say you're a genius! I love the Fat Children and the Pope song's, they're the funniest ever! Any chance to see you live in Dublin again soon? Me& my hubby definitely hope so as we missed your show last September:( Keep up the great work Tim and rock on!!
Alexandra on Friday, 7 May 2010
Tim, i introduced a friend of mine to you a while back and we saw you in concert last time you were in england. Yesterday in our compulsary RE short course class he decided to bring up your song '10 foot cock and a few hundred virgins' to our highly religious, muslim RE teacher. It was the funniest conversation ive ever heard :') luckily he wasn't too offended :p. P.S i read your FAQ so this will be 'fucking annoying' but i was really hoping you could maybe publish some of your music onto your website or maybe even a book? Because although i know every lyric to all your songs/poems, i've been playing the piano for 8 years and i can't quite work out your stuff by ear and i'd love to learn some of it. :) xxx
jummy on Friday, 7 May 2010

I'm kinda hoping your busily writing new stuff, and can't wait to come and see you live, my husband is concerned that I may not be able to sit still though!. x
Chris on Tuesday, 4 May 2010
If these are really read by you, then I'm not really sure how one should start this sort of thing. Does anyone else think that - maybe it is just me, I over-think a lot of things, but then it seems from your music that you do too - in a good way, of course. So to me, should you be "Tim" - as simply a fellow human being and thus an equal - or "Mr Minchin" - as a complete stranger with whom I have never had any contact? Maybe "Tim Minchin" as this is the name under which your stuff is released. or maybe "Mr Tim Minchin" to cover all the possible options? No, i think i will start, a paragraph and a half in, by simply saying "hi". I have only really discovered your work very recently (yes, sadly to say I cannot claim to be one of your die-hard, long-term fans that were there at the beginning. sometimes I wonder where those sorts of people come from - I mean, I've never managed to come across anyone famous before they were famous, and I don't think anyone I know has either. anyway...). It is true to say, however, that I really love what I have heard. I love the mix of the comic with the serious, the critique of global issues with the introspective self-analysis. If your music is anything to go by, I think you would be an exceptionally interesting person to talk to, to share a drink with. I particularly wanted to congratulate you on the song "not perfect". I was completely taken aback by it when i heard it. I'd spent a little while listening to your more comic stuff, and was blown away to uncover this sensitive masterpiece. It is, contrary to its own title, rather perfect. I've already listened to it far too many times. Don't stop, and don't change.
Patrick (@ Diss3nt3RS) on Tuesday, 4 May 2010
New Tim Minchin fan. Just started listening in August when my best friend divorced his wife after listening to If I Didn't Have You and he realized the honesty in the song about the statistical odds and his eyes were opened, he is so happy now and finally out meeting tons of cool new women and he has his pick - - or maybe he will never just pick one again. But the main thing is, he is happy now and he is free. So I bought all Tim's songs that I could find and his views on everything from Religion to the beauty of this world, is exactly how I have felt my whole life. Religion was invented to control the masses of uncontrollables by fear. There is nothing GOOD about it. It stands for every corrupt thing in this world. Those that are closest to Religion are usually the ones who abuse it the worst. I have not heard the Pope song but going to look for it now. Hope Tim Minchin plays in Pacific Northwest of USA sometime. Would love to see him in person!!!

Tim, you are a rock God. The only way the world as a whole can understand this is if you GET TO CHICAGO SOON! I mean, many of us Yanks truly appreciate you. We're not all self-important twats. We need you.

I'm not a big fan of swearing in comedy as it tends to be gratuitous, but The Pope Song is spot on. Ironically, it's just about the most articulate and persuasive thing I've heard on the subject. Well said!

Hey Tim, Just came across the pope song on politics.ie. Some clown had posted about how the number of catholics in the world had increased by 12%. Someone else post a link to the pope song as a response. Said it all. It puts 'offensive' perfectly in perspective. When are you coming to Ireland?
Rebecca on Sunday, 2 May 2010
Where can I buy the pope song? I had never heard of you before I heard it, but now I want to support you for that wonderful song. And yes, the pope is a fucking mother fucker.
JP on Sunday, 2 May 2010
The Pope Song is just fantastic. The only problem I have is that I don't think he's a motherfucker, I think he's a cunt. For argument's sakes let's just say he's both. Could we get this to get into the music charts in the UK when the motherfucking supervisor of the paedophile priest boy-fucking support network visits the UK?

Dear Sir Tim. No not "sir" because you should be knighted, just "sir" because I am expressing respect for you, plus it sounds cool. Been a fan for a while but seriously, the Pope Song, absolute brilliance. (Big kudos too to Fraser Davidson for the video, it's spot on.) Please find a way, somehow, to perform this when the Pope visits the UK.
