Hey! How're you doing?! I was watching the 'Just for fun' Montreal Comedy Festival on telly last night... when your act came on. I was pretty bowled over, I can tell you! Holy cow! Such incredible lyrics! And all the way through the song, marvellous comedy! The genius of your comedy; the pure magic in your command over the piano: talk about awesome! Your performance left me in awe - absolute perfection! You know, when you see such abundant talent; and presented without a single flaw ..... *Brilliant!* Thank you for your incredible performance; it made the show something really special! Regards ...

Great mind, great songs, great humor. Probably you won't give a damn, but I like your way to do the art. Thank you. I wonder if there is a chance you visit Poland some day.

Hi Tim, you are amazing! I hate to say it but we just discovered you, and we are addicted!!! Please come back to Canada, so many great areas to play in the Toronto area. Too many favourites to list, but Lullabye is my go to on a bad day with the kids (although my 8 year old does not see the humour in it for some reason, LOL) it always makes me smile. Thanks for being awesome!!!!!!

A friend gave me a ticket to your Friday nt concert at the Palais in Melbourne. I am an MSO and Ben Northey fan but didn't know anything about this 'Tim Minchin' character! (I know, I know, where have I been???) So EVERY word, song and what you looked like were totally new to me. Well, I walked out of that concert feeling as if I'd been smacked in the head with your genius! My life has changed! I bought your CD after the concert and introduced you to my daughter (15) who in turn is obsessed too. We flew to Sydney for your last concert at the Opera House and I don't know if we will ever come down from this Tim Minchin high, or if the fever will ever cool. You are brilliant! Thank you for sharing your talent with us XO

You had me at homophone. From one ginger to another, thank you for sharing your tremendous talent and raucously irreverent humour! This Canadian is definitely a fan! Alec (short for Alexandra or SmartAlec, whichever you prefer)

Just been at an Sonata Arctica concert in cologne and Tony seems to bee an huge Tim Minchin fan. After the first notes of the song Full Moon he made the "all the ladys in the house…" joke instead of singing the song and told the crowd how great you are. Having a finnish band prototing you in germany was really unexpected. Couldnt find a video from cologne but here is one in Sheffield http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC7hN_Ihd9s&feature=related

Hola tim! :) I'm 14ish and I loooooove your awesome hair and musical ability!!!! I saw your Saturday night show in Sydney and you and the orchestra sound just effing awesome! You are my idol and I aspire to be like you...(aside the fact my lyrics are shite and I'm a girl) I was disappointed though, because I Wouldve LOVED to have met you after the show...... But I couldn't..... *tear* lol keep being an awesome rock and roll nerd (p.s just wondering if you could write a song about how the abc2 stuffed up the broadcast of you! Lol) :D
Graham on Monday, 28 March 2011
After the continuous stupidities that have been going on in this world, the latest being a pointless vote for and by stupid people, it was incredibly uplifting to my wife and I to see the Opera House on Sunday night packed to the rafters with other people on the same wave length. We felt all was not lost. Thanks Tim for just doing your thing. You appeal to all ages, I was quite astonished at the vast number of silver heads (including us!) in the audience. To pick out anything? "Beauty" was just that (in an ironically satirical way of course).
Gil on Monday, 28 March 2011
Great Sydney show, worth the drive up from Canberra and back again.

Amazing piano playing. I told my husband to stop shuffling about and sit the f**k down so I could hear it. God he's annoying.

Hi Tim, Congrats on your Sydney Symphony show. I had the opportunity to watch it last night on ABC2 & could'nt leave my chair. I admire your irreverance and also the wisdom underlying your statements. As an old cynic I find things rarely make me laugh out loud but you struck the right chords. Well done!
Caro on Monday, 28 March 2011
Loved your show with the SSO last night Tim...sheer genius! It was brilliant in the "cheap seats" behind the orchestra being able to see your interaction with the conductor and the machinations of the SSO, particularly the percussion.
hendrik on Monday, 28 March 2011
dear tim, i stumbled upon some of your videos on youtube a few days ago. you sir, are hilarious. really enjoyed your music. unfortunately theres only one of your albums downloadable on amazon.... please keep writing these wonderful songs

It would be really nice to get Tim in Canada for a show........ Maybe Ottawa? hint hint. Our little capital needs some f**King good times. ;P

Your show with the SSO was brilliant. Did the ABC stuff up the soundtrack, or was it just my TV? No-one else seems to have commented on it, so maybe it was just me.

To Mr Tim Minchin McSexHair, We suppose, we would like to start off this mini fudging essay by complementing you on your astounding musical talents and insane use of vocab in your songs! (Start off well, keep attention... Right.) Okay... next thing... Much to our HEARTBREAK we were not old enough last December to see your live show. (Heartbreak it damn well was...) The next round of heartbreak hit when the remaining venues, now on the tour are too far away... and there is no way we could possibly get to them... (We cried for days...Litterally... our mum's were worried, they wanted to take us to doctors... And how i love those wankers... but thats totally off subject.) After getting over this far too recently, we decided we would try, very very VERY hard... to try and get you to come to somewhere much closer... Although not too well known, Malvern Theatres is a really nice place... (Hint Hint) Since you've already been to Birmingham... You would be genuinely surprised how nice it is here... allthough we are all totally weird and clinically insane... in a good way :) And of course we would be welcomming :) It would also give our little town a MUCH NEEDED FACELIFT! Since we hardly get anyone worth seeing in the Theatre... Actually enough to make us cry :/ (too much crying, not enough persuading...) I'm sure you also saw on the XFactor... (waste of time) a certain someone called Cher Lloyd... well.... just no. None of us are like her... she's just a hyped up chav. Anywayss... Would be awesome! *Falls on floor and cries deeply and lovingly* Either that or you would get a bad case of Angry Feet... We tried to write this intelligantly... but to be totally fair... im pretty thick. So.... Complications there... and a bit of a confesion... In this musical debation... (Muahahaa...) Much love, Hairbrushes and insane solo's, Kim and Meg xx

All of Minchin's shows should come with a dehydration warning. By third song in I had lacrimated enough fluids due to laughter that I felt faint. Is Minchin a rock-n-roll nerd? I have no idea, but he is certainly a nerds rock-n-roller as his music is intelligent and entertaining. The only problem that this may give him is that his stalkers will end up knowing how to brew their own ACE mixture. If you haven't seen him live, especially with the orchestra, sell a child and get along to it. Even people with aspergers will laugh.

Hey Tim, just discoverd your wonderful music. It is something fresh to my ears and I love it lots. It goes with out saying but you are an incredible musician. I could only hope to be as good as you are at my own music. I am 26 from Oxford, Mississippi USA. (Never thought you would have a southern boy as a fan did you.) Your music is funny as hell and holds a lot of my own views. Kind of makes me happy that there is someone out there with the skill to say all that stuff. Anyway, it has been three days since I first saw you on charlieissocoollike (Youtube Vloger) it was funny as hell so see him so happy to meet you and write a song with you. But sadly he didn't turn on the mic. So no music. You should go back and redo the song. When you have the time of corse. But in three days I have gone throught nearlly all your music and I am blown away. I saw it all on Youtube but trust me I have plans to buy all your CD's and DVD's. I belive in trying to help out the music I love. I don't expect you to hit me back or anything but just know I will be telling all my friends and everyone else about you. Last but not least. Come to America more I would love to see one of you shows. I will drive as far as I need to to get there. The wife and I will make a whole trip out of it. Well, keep up the great work and hope to see you in America soon. Peace.

I found recently, that removing my shoes when doing various activites, makes me less nervous. For example, in my piano exam, I went in shoeless, and yes, i got an odd look from the examiner, but i was less nervous, and got distinction, WOO (only grade 1, i am working on getting better). Could this be the reason why you don't wear shoes? I also work better without shoes, and quite often walk round my lessons at school with no shoes on, except, I stood on some glass in art the other day. Ahh well. I found the sheet music to one of your songs whilst browsing the internet, printed it off, took it to my piano teacher, who then laughed at me, and said, 'oh no, that is far to complex' Screw you piano teacher, I taught it to myself. Anyway, I have ranted on now, Your work is amazing, my parents still disaprove of you and your naughty words. Got shouted at the other day for playing the pope song to my 11 year old brother, oops my bad. He needed to learn the wrongs of the pope anyhow. Thanks for your amazing work, keep it up :) Much Love Louise xx

Hi Tim!! I'm Argentinian and, even though I know it's quite unlikely, I'd love to find out some day that you're giving a show here =) English isn't our native language, but I don't think I'd be lying if I said that at least half the country speaks it... most of whom are people my age (twenty sthgs) Anyway.. if you ever came I don't doubt you'd sell out.. but until then, I'll just settle following you on Twitter and You Tube xD Best of luckssss!!

Not only was your performance amazing live as it is on TV, but to find out you are just as sweet too when you turned around and said thank you to me. Hello. I'd heard about you before, but never really thought to explore. Then the day before yesterday, I found the video 'Prejudice' and pressed play. Immediately I was enticed, stuck to my seat like ice (when you sprinkle salt on it). Awed at the melodic tune that enveloped my room. Oh how I cursed for not having submersed. Myself like a happy little elf. Oh how I burst with the thirst for more. My life had been a little dim, until I found you Tim. Sorry about the crapness :) Love your work, especially the beautiful little solos that you craft with care and emotion. Of course not forgetting the delightful lyrical genius of each piece. Pity my girlfriend can't share the same love I have for your work. (She finds things funny that no one else does). Thank you very much for brightening up my final year of A Levels. George.

there was a concert in MELB?! I'm so shattered, thank God I found your website...which um wasn't hard t find considering it has your name and all. Apart from all the superficial stuff, I'm more interested in how you came to become who you are, and I don't want a detailed explanation of how all humans came to be, I mean about your headspace, how you think, why you think that way, how you use your big words, i mean, it's shouldn't be that hard, but it's interesting, yes you are an amazing musician, and an amazing comedian, and an amazing performer, great ideas etc, but behind the scenes, what are you like? what really drives you up the wall? what kinda stuff do you find yourself internally laughing at in the every day to day life? btw I am writing a song about tickling, so far just wanting to use the same 4 chords, as the canvas bags hehehe, seems to be a very popular progression =p so far I am rhyming the words, and trying to link it together to make it fun, and play around with the sentences, instead of it bieng random words, maybe you can do something with it for fun, maybe it's a waste of time, maybe everything is a waste of time, maybe, what people consider a waste of time are actually the more important things in life? I'm tired -.- Goodnight Tim, lol I wonder if you actually read this, and if you do, i hope you have had a coffee and in a good mood before it

You are right. You really do deserve an orchestra! Is that how you imagined the songs in your head when you wrote them? Why did you not write Lullaby 11 years ago when I had my first child - would have helped enormously with the 'midnight madness' of parenting. And how long before Thankyou God stops spinning around in my head? (Don't wanna be caught singing those lyrics without Cont!) Thanks for coming to Brisbane again - the whole family had a superb night. Whenever you come, we'll be waiting for you in the sun...

Hi Tim, I thought you’d find it cool how new fans can be found in unexpected places. Having only seen you on Buzzcocks, I was recently introduced to the full extent of your talents via a friend’s 7 year old, who had told her ginger father she wanted to see Matilda. He then posted Prejudice on his FB page. I You Tubed it during a sleepless night and have been on your hook ever since. I am buying all my friends your DVDs for birthday presents so you can have a(nother) house (I’m still saving for mine). Cannot believe my luck to find you’re at the RAH in April and am taking my oldest school friend plus have bought my currently travelling, ‘Ozophile’ ex flatmate a ticket for her birthday to see you in Sydney - so we can compare notes when I visit her to have white wine in the sun later in the year. As a London based fan who used to work for Oxfam and go home with a full heart and an empty purse but who now works for an American Bank and goes home with a fatter purse and an empty heart, I can say you are not only all the things you describe yourself as but also an INSPIRATION. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you or writes otherwise (especially the voice in your head that wants to believe them). PS: My Dad, who is 80 this year, used to play piano in a style similar to you (and played for Flanagan and Allen). He thinks you’re playing is awesome. He’s pretty deaf so he misses a lot of the swear words (!) but he feels music and knows the notes you’re playing when he watches. I hope you read this and it makes you smile. Any chance of a tweet to @operaone would make my year. Good luck with all the upcoming shows!

We attended your show last night in Adelaide with the ASO - the orchestra were great (as usual), your musical talents are admirable but the content of your show was extremely offensive to say the least. We are broad minded, widely travelled and not normally easily offended - until last night. If we hadn't paid $62 for the tickets, we would have left after the interval. Good luck with the rest of your shows but I suggest in future you use your talents in a more constructive way - not at the expense of others.

Hey Tim. I went to the Kings Park gig on Friday night. My first Tim show, and it was amazing. I was only a few rows back from the stage, and was totally blown away..!! It's a shame you didn't come out after wards. My friend and I tried to get a glimpse of you through the gate at the back of the stage after the show. Until Mr Security guard came and escorted us away.. ! Of which I then whacked him over the head with a poster of you !! :).... xx

I love your work, and I love the fact that you went and saw a local show at Subiaco while here in Perth. I really hope you enjoying being entertained as much as we like being entertained by you. Much kudos and keeping an eye on what's happening with Matilda because that will be wonderful to see. Cheers and all the best, Jo

Hey Tim, I applaud the truly amazing vocabulary you have, I have to say beside your humorous interpretations of what wouldn't in usual circumstances be considered as laugh worthy, I believe what caught my attention was your vocabulary and of course the funny faces you make during your preformace. Thank you for such amazing comedy.

The first song I heard by you was If I Didn't Have You and then I knew I had to listen to the rest of your music. Right now my favorite song is Prejudice. You should come out to Phoenix, Arizona(:

Dear Tim, I am REALLY tired of YouTubeing you! Why don´t you come to Scandinavia so I can watch you live? Oh, btw thanks for all the good laughs, all the good thoughts, and the reminder not to open my mind too much.

Tim :) It's Amy from Kirkwood deli in Swanbourne, Marina and Aaron's niece.. (I'm hoping you remember me, although you were quite hungover). Anyway, I actually just wanted to say that meeting you this morning made my day, and, despite the fact I'm superdissapointed that I forgot to ask for a photo with you, your concert with WASO on Friday was incredible. Goodluck with all the other orchestra shows, hopefully I'll see you again in the future at some point!!

Hi Tim! I have been watching as much of your stuff on Youtube as I can (since your dvds won't work over here and there aren't any movies on iTunes :( ) and hope to hear that you'll possibly have a gig somewhat closer to the DC area than Boston at some point in the near future! We in the States need more people like you to help us laugh off our troubles from the fundies. :)
Fiona on Sunday, 6 March 2011
You so deserve your own orchestra. Saturday night Kings Park was amazing, thanks for such a great night......and now i know either God does not exist or he is not vengeful......(yet).
Nicole on Sunday, 6 March 2011

Fantastic concert at King's Park last night. My wife and children (two boys) all loved it. Eternally grateful for your inspiration to my boys. I have "forbidden" them to play as well as you, so now they try extra hard! We all admire your courage in taking on religion, and your honesty in dealing with life's problems.
emily on Saturday, 5 March 2011
Hello Tim. I saw your show last night in Kings Park in Perth and loved every second of it! I'm so glad that you've come back to WA - you are an amazing player and certainly quite a humourous fella :) Keep doing what you do! Best wishes

Tim, your show in Perth last night was fantastic. Hope you noticed that half the audience stayed after the show had ended sitting around chatting and laughing - there was a great energy that they obviously didn't want to end. Keep on having fun - we all did!
sally on Saturday, 5 March 2011

Yo TIM! Love your work. Love your show. Love your face. Thanks for brightening my day with ironic lyrics and musical prowess. You make me laugh wholeheartedly, and when I'm not laughing you make my insides smile because I can't get your songs out of my head. :D

Tim! Your an amazing, and incredibly talented musician, you were an insparation to me, to push myself, to keep playing my piano, no matter how bad my family treats me, telling me that its not a real instrument, or that i'll never go anywhere in life...Well that, and stuff like i'm a talentless loser with no friends, and will probably never make friends, and that i'll always be this way....But anyway, it was because of your work, that made me turn a blind eye to that and, to keep practicing, because I know that one day i'll get there, maybe not today or tomorrow, but soon...So thanks..You were one of the best things I have ever come across. I wish you the best.
marli on Wednesday, 2 March 2011
hey tim! loved your show in melbourne on the 26th! i'm sure you hear this all the time, but you are so, SO, extraordinarily talented. and your piano playing just blows me away. i found out a couple of days after your show, that Mu-Mu Lady got offended at the start of 'Cont' so she left the theatre, and came back after you'd finished the song.. but since she left, she missed 'Context'! which i thought was pretty funny. but anyway, just wanted to say, loved, loved, loved your show. keep up the amazing work. -xx

Sydney show sold out...bugger...I'm gonna miss the chance...but I gotta find a way of telling this dude to 'Speak it bro!'....so....can't believe I did it but... Packed the whole friggin' family up and flew them to Melbourne - flights, accommodation, rental car (returned with dent...oops) - all up close to $2000! Fuck me...I hope you're enjoying your life for me Tim!

Hi Tim: Loved the Sat Melbourne Show. I'm giving up seeing other music and comedy as other people shouldn't bother :-) Just wondering: did Sam's mum have cataracts or corneal disease? I'm confused. (you have some medical nerds as well as statistical nerds coming to your shows!)
Anne on Tuesday, 1 March 2011
hey tim, just wanted to say hi. i love Lullaby XD keep writing awesome songs

Your concert in Melbourne on Saturday night was utterly superb! I keep wondering how each new show could top the previous - but you always manage to wow us more and more every time. Watching the Oscars last night I kept thinking one day I bet they'll be reading your name out for Best Song/Score. Oh and don't worry about Mu-Mu Lady - I've asked the "universe" to destroy her.
