Hey Tim, I'm an Aussie living in Brazil, I got married here last year and gave the guests canvas bags to take home! :) woohooo I'm an English teacher here in Brazil (where the first sentence ppl learn is "the book is on the table'), and unfortunatly my students know more about English grammar than most of (all) of my Australian friends (and myself, but as I am a teacher I cannot let them know).. Please write a song about grammar, and it's misuse (then/ than, it's/ its and how Maccas has the right to use 'lovin' etc) I was shocked when a student asked me to review the verb 'to be' with the class. I told the students that I needed to print out a worksheet and left the classroom (to ask another teacher what on Earth my students were on about). Why was I never told that is, was, are and were are all linked? I'm going to use your song ' Prejudice' in an advanced class, because it 's fantastic! Keep performing. Lovin' your work! ;)

Mr. Minchin! I loved your Washington D.C. show and was very glad (and surprised) I got to meet you after the show. Dare I say it, your music and playing moves me. That was the best evening of entertainment I have had in a long time and I just wanted to thank you.

Hey Tim, I just wanted to say THANKS for a great show last weekend @ the Warner in DC. Please don't be a stranger and come back to the area sometime in the near future...we will all make it our mission to spread your word and give you a sell-out crowd next time you're here. I hope you enjoyed your visit and that your US tour went well. I cannot thank you enough for what can only be described as an amazing experience, to mix comedy and music in perfect proportions, yielding the performance of a lifetime. Words, and succinctness, are not my strong suit, so I'll leave it @ "THANK YOU!" (and forget the empty seats that make baby jesus cry; better to have 800 loyal friends than 1500 cynics). :-) Cheers!
Joe Schofield on Thursday, 28 July 2011
Tim, I think you're the BEST musician/comedian ever!! So witty and such xD I love you're live shows and can't wait to see you at the Beautiful Days Festival!! I'll be the one at the front shouting how much I love you (I hope my girlfriend doesn't mind...) Give me a shoutout? :L Just pulling ya leg, but I would like to bring you some cookies.. :D Thanks for being so awesome, keep it up! :D x

I would just like to say that you could possibly be the musician of the millenium. I cant wait 'til your back in Australia!!!!

Hi Tim, congratulations on your inclusion in the Variety list of Top 10 comedians. Your fans are all (vicariously) very proud of you down here in Sydney. Looking forward to more of your performances going on sale. We have actually been hoping that a DVD of your performance with the SSO at the Sydney Opera House will also be produced for distribution, especially as the live telecast already exists. It was fantastic - and really re-created the feeling of being there (we were at the first of the SOH concerts and loved it). I'm sure the Royal Albert Hall DVD is very good, but there was an intimacy to the Sydney performance - with our very own SSO - that we're sure the home crowd would really appreciate. Here's hoping! In any case, ALL THE BEST!!

Never was much into musical comedy. Always liked to keep music serious and comedy, well you know. I'm from a small town in Sweden so when this girl I know, she's also Swedish but she lives in London, asked me if I'd heard of Tim Minchin I said no. And then we sat down together and watched Storm. Made me laugh a lot, sure, but more importantly it sums up the way I feel about that stuff and and wraps it up in a quite lovely package. When I got home I went on Itunes and bought your stuff there and listened to it. Over and over again. It's brilliant. That's the word I'll have to use. So. Next goal will be caching a show somewhere. Thanks for opening up my mind a little bit (Not to much though. I've heard things about what could happen.) /kris

Oy Tim! Saw you in D.C. and fell more in love with you (if that's possible). You were fantastic, sir! Please return to the states at some point so I can stop watching you on Youtube (as much). Your show was the best birthday present I've ever had. BTW - Star wars fan (1983 birthyear) and married, counter to your claim.

Loved the DC show! We travelled from Lancaster PA to see you and it was well worth it! A few of us here in the heart of conservative Amish (think "The Good Book") country are doing our part to help spread your message and expose others to your huge. . .talent! Thanks!
Emily on Monday, 25 July 2011
Thank you for an incredible show in D.C.! I've been a big fan for years and had been eagerly waiting for you to tour close enough to where I live to see you live - the four hour drive was completely worth it. I really appreciate you coming outside after the show and spending so much time with your fans trying to give everyone a moment (and letting us get pictures!), it meant a lot. Hopefully you'll be back to the US east coast again soon!

Hi Tim! Just saw you in D.C. What an amazing show - you had me in stitches one moment, and brought tears to my eyes the next. And what a HUGE surprise to run into you and the crew at the resturant a bit later. Thank you being so gracious - I appreciate the hand shake, and the chance to chat for a moment. I can't explain just how much you mean to me, but I will say that I'm so happy for all of your success. Thank you for making a stop in D.C., and I look forward to seeing you again. Take care, be safe . . . ~ David

Just got home from your DC concert. I really loved it. I only knew of your song Storm and some friends invited me. Now I am a huge fan. You are very deep :) and brilliant. Looking forward to when I can see you again in concert. Now I am going to look around and purchase some of your music. Will be telling some of my friends about you and the few non-believer family members I have. Cheers!

Hello Tim, I have been quite a huge fan of your work for a few years now. I see you will be performing in Canada in a week's time. Is there any chance you might consider visiting us in the west? Maybe Vancouver? I do hope your trip to our country is a wonderful adventure for you. Much love to you and your family.

Hey Tim, I just got back from seeing your show at the TLA in Philadelphia. I've got to say that out of all the concerts or shows I've been to, I looked forward to yours the most; you certainly did not disappoint. Just one thing: I would love to see you record and release Hallelujah. Why? Because I honestly think if you do not, many people will be deprived of the wondrous beauty you created and extended by make an already gorgeous song even more so. Hats off to you, sir, and thank you for making my entire summer.

Hey Tim, I have a suggestion (and request.) I'd love to see a canvas bag with an image from your Canvas Bags video. Perhaps the frame when you're all getting blown away by the large fan, or the shot right before the image of the earth, or the shot when you're releasing the dove, or the last group shot before you get ported back to reality. Heck, you could offer all four as a set! I'd have my birthday gift shopping done for the entire year!

Please please please please please COME TO SOUTH AFRICA! You have a MAD (in a good way..) fanbase here, seriously I couldn't believe it when Geoff Coates said he plays for you and yet he still hasn't recommended SA as an epic place to tour. So do it. We have sunshine, and interesting people, who love you as only people who have never actually met you can.

Saw you in Minneapolis and had an ear to ear grin the entire show. Absolutely loved the encores and had a good laugh with the (equally rabidly atheist) SO over your comments about that room of 85% Atheists. I only wish we'd have had a longer time with you. I sort of have a sad now. :( Excellent performance and we'll be making plans to see you again if you're back in our area (which means IL/WI/MN to me. Oh, I'll travel to see you again, no question.) I'll also be dragging any and all of my Atheist/skeptic/kickass friends along. They'd love you, too! Be well. <3

Saw you in MPLS MN, last weekend. I had never heard of you and since the show, have been telling everyone about you, your humor and musical talent. VERY impressive show, laughed my ass off, ( The ginger song was my favorite). Keep up the good work brother and I hope you make it back here soon.

Great show at the Pantages in Minneapolis MN. I'm a 50 year old dad that drove my two kids 18 and 20, 535 miles one way to your show. (They are avid fans) They have been following you on YouTube and said I just had to watch...which I did...and really really enjoyed your material. Being raised in the Lutheran faith and marrying a Catholic, was "forced" to raise my kids in that despicable manner due to the demanding traits of the Fucking Pope. We have all since 'seen the light' so to speak. Your comments that 85% of the theater was atheist, I believe was spot on, which really tells you there are many of us that lie to ourselves (the Hallelujah song was amazing). You can't tell me a bunch of non-church going atheist could sing that well without a life time in church... really makes you wonder just how many of us are out there secretly setting in the pews say to ourselves what the fuck am I doing here. Keep up the great work.... very impressive 3 standing ovations.

Tim (or Tim's minders), when are you going to post a video to YouTube of Thank You God? It is sorely lacking and it's one of your most lyrically brilliant songs. The version with the SSO was superb and deserves to be seen by many, many people. Please please please do this. Pretty please?
Angela on Monday, 18 July 2011
Hey Tim, thanks so much for coming all the way to Minneapolis! Your performance was quite enjoyable (maybe even "deep"), and meeting you after the show was a very special treat. You've earned two new lifetime fans with your talent, wit, brilliance, and with the kind patience you displayed when confronted by a mob of strange fans outside the stage doors. Please come back again someday!

G'day Tim, Great show in Atlanta the other night, Best line of the night "I think I just called atheism a religion". 3 bad things about the night for me, The Tshirts were sold out, don't you want my money. You didn't sing white wine I am a Aussie living in Atlanta. And you didn't come out so you could hear me bitch about the first two. Mate, thanks for a very funny night keep up the great work

I was so sad, I bought tickets to your show in Australia in 2009 and we were unable to attend :( then in 2010 we moved to Minneapolis for 3 years so when we saw you on Conan we started looking for where you were playing nothing was going to stop us from going! I was so excited and you didn't dissapoint us, we have been watching you for a very long time (not stalking) I think we first saw you on the "Sideshow" in Australia! Can hardly wait till you come over again we will be waiting! I loved the song "White wine in the sun" we are going home for the first time this christmas and it reminded me of what is to come Thanks xxx

Thrilled that my speck got to experience your speck in Minneapolis tonight! You do humanity proud with your blend of genius, humility, rationalism and humor. Kudos and gratitude.
Michael Holmes on Saturday, 16 July 2011
My girlfriend surprised me with tickets to your show in Atlanta this week. It was an awesome show. As the last finale your version of Hallelujah was nothing short of spectacular. Thank you for that moment. You said during the song that it was the greatest song ever written. I will concede that it is one of the best, to be certain, but in my opinion "White Wine in the Sun" is a better song. So much depth. The passion that song evokes is amazing. It defines being a son, and a father both in the most sublime way. Thank you.

We were lucky enough to catch Tim's show in Atlanta last night, at Center Stage Theater. My husband and I had fantastic seats, I nearly caught the lyrics sheet to a new song "Context" which made me laugh my ass off!!! We both agreed that we'll be seeing Tim anytime he comes through Atlanta. Thanks for a GREAT SHOW TIM!!!!
Ken Loukinen on Friday, 15 July 2011
Last night I saw Tim Minchin in Atlanta. He "So F*#king Rocked"! The show was great as I expected it would be. He played a lot of songs that we were familiar with and a few new songs. I would love to tell you about them, but I'll keep it a secret until you get a chance to hear them yourself... but I am confident you will love them as the whole audience in Atlanta was laughing. The sound was great, we didn't miss a word and the venue (Center Stage) was small and comfortable, everyone was close, so close that at one encore he didn't use a mic and we still were able to hear him well. If Tim comes to your city, I recommend seeing the show... you will love it. It was great to see so many fans anxious to see Tim play. I estimate there were a thousand heathens and many knew most of the songs. I hope we get to see him in South Florida... I will be there too.

I just got done watching Tim Minchin Rock n Roll nerd. Seeing your success story is quite inspiring. Tim, you are a very lucky man... Not only are you down to earth and have a great talent, but you got something which a lot of men can only dream off, Sarah, your wife. Someone who obviously love you very much. Someone who supports you no matter how hard it gets and someone who believes in you. It's also nice to see that you haven't taken her for granted either. The love you two share is truly heartwarming and I sincerely wish you great successes..

Fabian on Tuesday, 12 July 2011
Hey Tim, I enjoy your commedy beyond cliche, you regularly manage to go beyond the repetetive reinstatement of trivialities that has become so characteristic of modern commedy. It's probably strange to apply the same rules to art as to science; but since you proclaim a rational outlook on the world I cannot resist ;-) When I listened to "Storm"; I couldn't help but think that you might have an outdated theory of science. The problem of postmodern science seems to be that Storm (if she had read a bit of wikipedia first) may win the argument. This is due to the fact that our "observations" are inevitably theory-infected. How do you know what you observe without having a theory about the units that make up an observation? The regularity of scientific revolutions and paradigm shifts makes it hard to believe in the truth content of science; knowledge does not cummulate over time (or only indirectly), since the new theoretical terms cannot be translated into the terms of the old theory. The conclusion most people reach so far is: We have to accept some basic principles on faith, we cannot know whether science gets it right; only believe in the method. One can only win the argument against Storm, if she already shares some common believes one can appeal to. Ok, this was enough nerdiness for the day :D I wish your show all the success it deserves (much!)

Mr. Minchin - I came home today and was linked to a youtube video of your Pope song. As I am a Catholic, my friend warned me in advanced I might be offended. I just wanted to let you know that I *wasn't* offended in the slightest, in fact I totally agree with your message. If you get slack for this song, don't accept it! You make a valid point and the Pope should be ashamed of himself. I really look forward to listening to some more of your work, and hope it continues to be just as good! Best of luck in the future! KAM

Tim!! I have to say i'm a bit of a new fan, of which i fully blame my friends for not telling me about your epic-genius songs, as i asked them all yesterday if they knew who you were and they all replied, " oh yea that man with guyliner ". So anyway I'm hoping to get tickets for the Greenwich comedy festival, (yay go Londoners!) so that i can see your smelly feet and take a sample of the smelliness and clone them so we can all have Tim Minchin feet...which obviously everyone wants! But really though i cant wait to see you live! Your songs make me laugh so awkwardly on a silent bus, and i totally wish i found out about you sooner!! And you also have cool hair and eyes because your obviously so fucking rock! Rach loves Tim!!

Totally delighted to have seen your show last night in Anaheim, thank you for touring the USA. As a fellow Aussie (from Perth) and a ginger (yes, it's true) I loved every moment from the opening Rock N Roll Nerd, through Prejudice (good on ya ginger - I can call you that, right?) to White Wine in the Sun. I brought 3 guests along and they were (naturally) SO impressed. So, yeah, thanks for being a genius and doing what you do, it was great.

Saw you in the FRONT ROW in "Anti-Hymen" last night and wanted you to know how much I enjoyed what you do... You are truly a master at your game, topping Tom Lehrer and even the late George Carlin. The OC Grove made a huge error with Ticketmaster which prevented your having a full house--even if you were in the bastion of fundamentalist religion in Orange County. I'm so glad you performed and was not disappointed at all! Now if we could only get US distribution on your CDs and DVDs! ITunes says we have to have an account with the UK iTunes to buy, and that's gotta be killing your sales. I'll be doing my part in making you viral on the net... you are special!
Tamara on Sunday, 3 July 2011
Tim, Thank you for a wonderful show in Anaheim. It was great to hear some old favorites and some new songs as well. I have always wanted to go to one of your shows and now, because you have traveled, I have! Please forgive some of the rude audience members. Your music has made a difference in my life and continues to make me smile. I was so excited it was all I could but grin and smile during the whole concert. I was the one in the orange shirt, front row, stage left. Thank you!

AS an avid fan for a couple of years I am thrilled to be seeing you tonight. I purchased tickets on the day they went on sale and got seats towards the back. As a fluke I just checked again what was available- and scored....Middle of front row. I will be the grinning Englishman in the pink shirt. So now I have spare tickets I am attempting to give away.

Tim, My son turned me onto you and from there I turn on my boyfriend and anyone else that I thought could appreciate you. Thank you for playing Austin, TX. That show was on my son's birthday and I was able to get tickets for him, his wife and myself. My boyfriend passed last January but I purchased a forth ticket anyway. Thank you for closing the show with "White Wine" which my boyfriend and I had chose for our Christmas song and "Halleluiah" which my boyfriend introduced me to. The show was entertaining to me and emotional for me. You are very talented and I am not aware of another solo act who can hold a audience for that length of time. Truly enjoyable.
